Who was Emery going to play ahead of Ramsey? I didn’t say he won’t be a top player and isn’t excellent, but he still has alot of work to do and needs competition. Your comments sum up what im trying to say. You’re making him out to be Zidane. If he was a Scottish u21 he wouldn’t get half the hype.

I get what you say about Couthino but he is alot younger and hasn’t been off the pace for 2-3 years. Plus Couthino costs probably 10m more than he will and given signing on bonuses and wages, Couthino would probably be on at least 3 times as much a year. Couthino was on 400k a week or something at Barca

I think it is the Agent/Club. They said he was due to be on bench at weekend but because of Villa interest he wasn’t risked. Sounds BS to me.

I would wait for Delofeu to the summer. Why would you buy a player who has been out injured for 3 months, especially given his age and injury history
