Benj needs to be loaned out for a season. Theres no point in him sitting on the bench and only getting called upon in the chance Shay gets injured. Loan him out to get some experience, we have been building him up for years. he is 20 now and if he is as good as we all think then he can go and be a top keeper in the championship for a season If he does well then he can be our number 1 in 13/14. Bring in Butland as number 2 to replace Shay if he gets injured and in a years time Butland and Sigriest can fight it out over the Number 1 jersey. But there is no need to be selling Given at this minute. We need *some* experience in the team!

Butland would be a great buy as backup when he is ready to step up Siegrist will be ready for the bench. In the meantime, keep Given we arent getting anybody better.

Everybody was shit vs Hereford from what I remember. Whilst we're on the subject of judging him based on one game. He was class vs Man Utd. Essien was relatively poor in the prem for 6 months. All of our players have been shit for 2 years. It's been ages since we signed somebody from abroad. Can we not just give him a chance? If he's shit this season/pre-season then fine get rid. But he probably hasnt even trained with the team in almost 12 months and a lot of people are writing him off.

He looks good and will be a good player. I would prefer a more experienced winger though as we have a lot of young talent coming through who can play wide in Carruthers, Albrighton, Grealish, Graham, Robinson and Cameron. (A couple of them will make it.) I would take Phillips, he's going to be a good player but if I had the choice I'd take a more experienced winger who can see a game out and not as likely to make inexperienced mistakes. Adam Johnson would be great for us and has more experience, whether we can get him is a different issue though

If we are going to lose Shay, Foster wouldnt be an awful replacement but I certainly wouldnt think it would be an improvement. Guillermo Ochoa would be a good choice, only been at Ajjacio a year..but it's Ajjacio surely we can lure a player from there? lol. Very good keeper imo.
