Agreed. First things first, he needs to get himself a helluva lot fitter. He’s very good on the ball, and comfortable taking the ball off defenders. Nobody else in the Leicester team could do that part well. Mendy, Soumare and surprisingly Ndidi were shocking at it all season. He isn’t my first choice for that position but IF he gets himself fit, and back in form, we’ve effectively signed a 40-50m player for nothing. If we’re going to want to try and sign the Joao Felix’s, Nico Williams of this world, unfortunately we’re going to have to mix that in with some astute signings on free transfers (Asensio being another). Personally, I’m a little indifferent on this one. I’ll see how it pans out as he has been poor the last 12 months on the whole. He was a cracking player before that though - who knows what’s gone wrong.

I think if you ask Leicester fans, they’ll tell you his best game was by far and away against us. In fact, I think it was his only good game

Ok, hypothetical situation. Russia launches a nuke on Bakhmut and kills X amount of people (let's say 50-75k). What would the response be from a) Nato, and b) the World. I too don't think it would happen, but at some point, Putin needs to start being truer to his word. At the moment, he can't win this war by conventional means (boots on the ground/artillery), so at some point, something has to give? Especially with land he claims is his territory now being attacked. Would he 'win' the war by mobilising the entire nation? I'm not sure.

He's 6ft 3. Depending on where you get your info, that's 3 inches taller than Konsa and Carlos. I think he looks pretty decent in the air? Could be wrong. Would be a good move for us. Not sure if we can keep all 4 centre halves happy though, even with the amount of games we have. Might we look to move one on?

Yep. Tielemans is a funny one. If we’d been linked 12 months ago, I’d have been delighted. Now it just seems a bit meh. He’s had a stinker of a season by all accounts.

He can do a job anywhere across the midfield and behind the striker. He’ll be invaluable to us next season. I can’t quite believe just how much he’s improved in the last 6 months. His performance against Spurs was probably, in my opinion, the single best performance from a player all season. Players like McGinn, Ramsey, Luiz and Konsa have all gone up several levels since Emery came in.
