  1. Have no problems scoring from corners against us, in cup finals even. Fernandinho and Rodri turn into prime Steve Bruce against us.
  2. They could always bring on uh...Riyad Mahrez and *checks notes* David Silva if things aren't going well
  3. City could play at 50% intensity and still smash them. The gulf between them and everyone else is immense.
  4. Absolutely. If we have ambitions to stay up, we should be aiming to overturn a 1 goal difference anyway.
  5. Wolves are at least a good team, they're well placed to give us the big un. Where WBA get off thinking they hold a candle to us I'll never know. They lasted all of 2 years being in a league higher than us before they joined us and we promptly knocked them out to leap back above them. That must sting, and is probably why they're so salty.
  6. That only applies once the season is over.
  7. Uh that is...beautiful. Would be the best claret + blue shirt we've had since 2011/12 I'd say, if it were real.
  8. Watford playing Cleverly at DM instead of Chalobah again, which Watford fans (and evidently the owner) weren't too happy about against West Ham. Troy Deeney and his dodgy knee also starting. Honestly, if Watford win this, they deserve to stay up.
  9. If we do both lose, we have to hope there's a GD swing, even 1 or 2 goals, hopefully more. Also in the back of our minds we have to pay attention to Bournemouth and hope that if they do beat Everton, it's not by a bigger margin than we beat West Ham, if that indeed also happens. In other words, to go easy on our hearts, we need to get something today.
  10. Like my head says no way they don't lose this one, and heavily at that. But football is so unpredictable. Nobody predicted they would end Liverpool's Invincibles hopes, but they smashed them.
  11. Bricking the Watford game more than this one
  12. It's down to hard work during lockdown and dramatically improving his English according to Smith. Needed time to acclimatize to the league is all. Don't think crowds have anything to do with it.
  13. Yeah that's probably for the Dean Smith thread then. This one's about our survival hopes.
  14. Opinions of what, whether or not we'll be relegated? The chances of that fluctuate wildly by match week and of course opinions on its likelihood will follow suit. Unless of course you're talking about something else.
  15. He said this time tomorrow which at the time meant at the end of the Watford game. Even if Watford win, we still wouldn't be relegated.
  16. Crazy how much money we spent on him and McCormack. At least Kodjia we got some great use out of. Wasted a lot of money in the Championship.
  17. In the first scenario, we have 2 games to make up a 5 goal difference. Assuming they lose the final game, which is the only way we'd finish above them anyway, making up 5 goals in 2 games isn't the end of the world. But yeah, scary thought considering them actually getting something tomorrow.
  18. I got the size up and it fits perfectly, or as perfectly as a kit with weird sleeves could fit
  19. Nah impossible. Unless they beat City like 4-0 or something. So impossible.
  20. Hope they get tonked 8-0 again just for that
  21. There's really no permutation to predict which Everton show up on the final day. They've been so erratic all year. As long as they can eke out a draw, we're laughing.
  22. Nah I disagree. Remember the playoff semi against West Brom? That's what I'd imagine the atmosphere to be like. Even after that silly mistake from Whelan the crowd was right behind us.
  23. Probably would have drawn against Wolves. The atmosphere against Arsenal tomorrow would be electric if there was a crowd. Could probably lift us to another point.
  24. Doesn't look like he'll just be fielding the kids at least like I initially feared. Any configuration of first teamers should be enough to dispatch Watford I'm sure.
