Hi General, I am going over to the match against Newcastle from Norway. As haven't bought this years shirt yet, I has a question regarding the sale n shirts: Will it still be on sale for the day of the match, 09.02? As the delivery is quite expensive if it shall be sent to Norway in time for the game, it would save me some money if it stil was on sale then. If u can't answer this, do you know someone at the club that can? Thanks for your time. -Anders-

First of all it's Pedersen, actually Gamst Pedersen. Show some respect for people's names now should we? Also, our keeper is named Sørensen... Sorensen in English, not Sorenson! I think he is much like Barry. They both have equal amounts of strengths and weaknesses. MGP has a great foot we all know that, but he is terrible in defense. Barry is more complete, without any real strengths. Solid players, but very much alike. None of them could skin a player, both could score 5 open play goals a season, so why invest in something we already got. Sure he would give us some great goals from set-pieces but it would not do any good with Gareth. Even though Barry is playing center mid, and has been since McCann was dropped? Exactly..Pederson would be competing for Bouma's place not Barry's, who has now cemented himself firmly as captain and in CM!! not quite, as Bouma is left back, and Gamst Pedersen is left mid. and he isn't to good either. next!

General, as I mentioned earlier in this thread we owe John Carews first club Lorenskog solidarity money after his transfer to us, due to him neing there in his youth. This is UEFA rules. Today Aston Villa yet again got negative publisity in the Norwegian press for this. Will the club do something about this?

Only in norwegian, but its called solidarity money i think. 5 % of the value of the transfer shall be parted between the clubs the player was in between he was 12 and 23 years.

After John Carew joined us his parent club in Norway, Lorenskog IF is due some money from our club after UEFA rules, as he spent his youth years there. This rule was introduced in 2002. After what I have heard in Norway Aston Villa should have payed them before last week, as the rule id you should pay them within 30 days. Why have we not done this? I for one don't think this is good PR for the club. As our new board have done an excellent job to date, I hope this could be a reminder for you General and the rest of the board, so we don't get any negative PR in Norway.
