To be fair some of the passes to Konsa have been interesting, putting him right in the shit mostly. We had the better chances and we're not playing our usual way either. I'd poss get Zaniolo or Diaby on for Tielemans if it's still 0-0 after 10 mins second half. We've got what it takes to win this but a draw is also great for us really.

Draw would be absolutely fine yeah. I'm already shitting it so good job I'm not involved If we play like we did at City they will crumble, we need to be all over them from the start and boss it. Win the ball back fast, high up the pitch and go at them. They're a very good attacking side so if they score first we might struggle, if we score first though they will commit a lot of men forward so we'll get chances. Could be a cracker this.

Yeah, as opposed to last night the way to crack this particular non two legged nut is to absolutely go at them, press high, loads of pressure on the ball, get at them and get them rattled. Need a big game from Pau and Konsa, Emi too. Is Ramsey going to be fit? Going forward we'll need more than just Bailey. If we can rattle them and score early it could be a cracker.

He should have got the free kick for the first yellow as well, he just got pushed over. Two nonsense yellows.

Looked better tonight, really unlucky not to get an assist and he worked hard for the team. There's still quite a few games left for him to make an impact.

Need to give him time but he's going to be playing a fair bit with Kamara out for the season. Hopefully he'll learn from tonight and we've got the coach to help him improve.

Could and probably should have nicked it at the end. Emery had obvs told them to keep compact and not take risks. First half we didn't press high, and didn't move up the pitch as a group. That was quite clearly the plan. We left their wing backs free and packed the middle, quite often you could see off the ball we were a perfect 4-4-2 when defending. That, and the changes meant we didn't get the bodies forward when we got the ball and our usual patterns of play weren't on. So we were playing longer and looking disjointed. Second half pressed higher and were looking to score, some better decision making, or if Ollie had got to Zaniolo's cross, Bailey's chance goes in, then we'd have won it. Referee was an arseclown of the highest order.
