  1. There's been some articles written saying he's a flop, fans don't like him, he's failed. On here and I'd imagine on the Musk fake news machine there's been people calling him shite every time he's played. If he's even seen/heard like a fraction of it I'd imagine it would piss you off. For me it's nothing to get upset about unless you've been calling him names on X. Or you write for the Birmingham Mail.
  2. Diaby needs that too, lucky the ball got to him but after that very well played
  3. Bro bey has made an awful lot of mistakes these two games. Looks to have talent but he's not been great.
  4. He needs to take his opportunity when it presents itself. We don't see him train and we don't know whether Emery thinks he can get the best out of him or not. It would be a shame (for us) if he goes elsewhere and it clicks for him again. After he looked like he didn't trust his touch coming on against Luton he's looked much better. Nowhere near what he's capable of but at least he had some belief.
  5. yeah I said before the game in the pre match thread we should go after them right from the off as that's how they've been beaten this season. Maybe though he felt if we had we were risking not just running out of steam in that match but picking up some more injuries as a result, being way out of whack for the Ajax game and risking our chances in the remaining games this season, I don't know, like I say I thought we should have gone right at them and tried to score more than them. Unai sees them every day though, might be that they just don't have the conditioning to do it and he's trying to manage the games and the training as best he can to bring home the bacon this season.
  6. Don't think it's lack of trust or being negative, genuinely think he's been trying to manage fitness/energy levels/fatigue. We've got key players out already, running the rest into the ground when we have a difficult run in with an enormous prize to play for would be foolhardy. We don't have a few hundred million pounds of talent on the bench to rotate with and we're thin on the ground through injury.
  7. Not read back in the thread so I don't know but am I the only one who thinks City's opener is a foul and should have been disallowed? Why is ok to push the near post defender out the way to create the space?
  8. Yeah at one point he chased back 80 yards hassling their player the whole way to win it back. He was giving everything and he did ok today, might be worth a start against Ajax but not down the left.
  9. They were the better team, looked brighter and fresher from the start. It was probably a mistake to change our system for them, but perhaps the way we've played in Amsterdam and today is why we did. We have a small squad and maybe Emery has thought we were too tired to play full throttle in either game. Ideal world we'd have gone for them and won. Probably the idea was to take the sting out of the game then change it, but we gifted them the second and the red card killed it for us really. No qualms about the red card, he hasn't played the ball and he's very aggressively just gone right through him. The 3 game ban with Kamara out for the season is a concern. No need to be calling us shite or panicking yet. I'm sure there'll be the same over reactions like after the United game but there's really no need. A very few games aside we've been amazing since Emery got the job. There's just no reason to think we won't still have our best season for a long long time.
  10. Maybe it's est1874's fault then? We don't lose often so it might just be, shall we have a whip round to keep him away from VP?
  11. Agree with the red but the ref should have given a lot more against them last couple.of.mins
  12. Even if we lose this 10 nil we aren't all of a sudden shit, we aren't all of a sudden out of reach of fourth. It's going to be the same over reactions as the United loss isn't it? We might even get a point still...
  13. Wild challenge and nowhere near the ball, rash. Uphill battle already but it'll take a miracle from here.
  14. First goal I don't think the cross give Konsa a chance, second he should be doing better. We haven't lost yet but we need to change things quickly
