  1. Wouldn't mind giving him a run of games playing behind Bent at the start of next season tbh. A standard 4-4-2 just doesnt make the grade, if his vision for a pass is up to scratch I'd play him just behind Bent and see if he is any good at opening the defence with his skills or whether its all looks and no end product as he clearly can't do it out wide. That or we loan him out somewhere he's going to get games. Wolves, Wigan and Norwich are all good shouts imo.
  2. Make or break for him next year and I'm not convinced.
  3. I really hope he has no future here. 68k wages is top dollar wages for somebody who has had one good season, too much money when he doesnt really have much of a work ethic and hasnt had a good game in 2 seasons. Atleast him asking for 50k wages is somewhat an improvement in his attitude, unfortunately nobody will give him those wages and we'll be stuck paying him 68k a week for the next 3 and a half years. This is why managerless clubs should not buy players.
  4. Villas boas wouldnt really be a gamble though he's probably already a step up from us.

Cant join RAF, I did the cadet thing years ago and then found out I'd never be allowed to fly because of hayfever, so quit.

HOLY ****. How do I go about getting into that!?
  8. Saw that on mr Fry's twitter the other day. THATS how the official campaign should have been done. I'll be voting yes.
  9. For once, I agree with JackBauer. Any sales or signings must only be done by whoever is our manager come September. If its Houllier by all means continue but if we start signing players instantly (y'know unless its Messi..or Baines hint hint) and then change managers it could completely be a waste of money. Dont mean to sound like im telling you how to do your job as your no doubt better at it than me but I'd be so stressed if we signed or sold players then changed the management team incase we'd thrown away usable talent and signed a load of dross.
  10. such as? Carroll, Welbeck, Sturridge, Wickham should be the ones making it through to the final squad. Fonz has done nowhere near enough to make the final squad.
  11. 3 points or I riot. ------------Friedel Walker-Cuellar-Collins-Young --------------NRC ---------Petrov-Delph Downing----------------Young --------------Bent Presume Dunne is still injured. If not Dunne and Cuellar at the back.
  12. As good as Ireland *could* be I think even in form [which i seriously doubt his ability to get back into] he isnt worth £68k a week in wages, thats the sort of wage we should be reserving for our top top players.
  13. But they have an injury crisis every year it makes me worry about his training regime and lack of squad rotation
  14. Other players have done more to deserve that imo
  15. I hope Warnock has no place at this club even if his mother is given the managers job.
  16. I'd like us to atleast try for a few managers maybe considered out of our reach in Van Gaal, Hiddink, Deschamps, Rikjaard. A cheeky punt for Villas-Boas [however unlikely]. Moyes wouldnt be a bad option (would hope he would change his training schedule slightly and learn how to rotate his squad though). Wouldnt say no to Jol or Coyle. I guess Lambert is an outside bet but we need experience after the season we've had.
  17. Thats nice for them, hopefully we have no interest in talking to them.
  18. I wish i hadnt bothered saying Bruce now.
  19. Sad news, stupid kid though to drink drive In other news, dont want to take a breath test? have a anxiety attack.
  20. I think Moyes is clearly our first choice [as a collective], I would certainly be worried about his injury crisis' every year he is very similar to MON in the fact he doesnt rotate his squad and its something we really need to do we were lucky with MON in that we didnt really suffer an injury crisis and started strong, Moyes is the opposite of this - he gets a crisis every year and starts the season incredibly poorly but finishes incredibly strongly. I'd still definitely have him I just hope whoever he had as his assistant could help out with any training to stop a injury crisis and maybe bring through any ideas of rotation.
  21. he established blues in the prem which was an achievement in itself, he is a good manager, i think sunderland will do well next season Established them then got relegated.... He's spent a lot at Sunderland and has very little to show for it. their new signings haven't gelled yet, on paper they have a very good squad and yet he can't get them to perform. because their new players haven't settled yet.... but he cant get them to perform. continue continue
  22. Why does GH role you? He has a wife mate. A bit harsh.
