  1. If you lose I will be celebrating. If you win I'll be jumping in the Grand Union Canal! Already done that 3 years ago lol PaulC? Which one? The jump or the bet? Please confirm! If it's the jump I'll have to think off throwing myself over the white cliffs of Dover! PS - Please don't tell me you've done that one as well!
  2. If all the gossip on the National Media rumour mill is to be believed then Ashley Willaims is a shoe in to team up with former Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool this summer. Sadly, can't see Villa pulling this one off so I think this one's dead in the water.
  3. If they beat spurs they'll be 6 points ahead of them with 6 points to play for, and a goal difference of at least 18 better - so for them to NOT finish top 4, they'd need, if we average it out, Spurs to win both their games by a total of 9 clear goals, and them to lose both their games by a total of 10 clear goals. However, 3rd place gets guaranteed CL football while 4th has to qualify, so the question is how much of a toss Rafa gives about them next season. The likelihood is none, and he'll be more concerned with adding another piece of silverware to that CV of his They have everton home last game so that should be 3 points Won't rafa be on a big bonus to secure auto CL football ? Rafa already has a top job lined up in Europe as head waiter at the Tapas Hotel on the Costa Del Sol. He starts on July 1st 2013 apparently. Hotel management have told him to tuck into a few more plates of paella till then because he needs to fatten up a bit more!

  5. Sat right next to Cresswell's uncle in the Witton Lane Stand (It's correct name) at 3rd round FA Cup game at VP. He assured me that Villa offered £4.5 M & Ipswich rigidly wanted £6M so we never went back after that! Bennett has certainly got a nice left foot but defensively he is so, so naive & as a lot of posters state most opposition managers & coaches target this area as a major weakness in our team. He does have potential though & I would much prefer us to go out & sign a quality LB & let him & Bennett fight it out for the shirt.
  6. That's exactly how I feel too. The possibility of those seven scenarios & requirements posted by P3te sure scare the hell out of me. Will be so, so relieved if this all resolves itself in our favou until then I shall continue to be a nervous wreck!
  7. Wigan take 5 points more than us from Swansea (H), Arsenal (A), Villa (H) AND Sunderland take 3 more points than us from Stoke (H), Southampton (H), Spurs (A) AND Newcastle take 2 more points than us from QPR (A), Arsenal (H) AND Norwich take 2 more points than us from WBA (H), Man City (A) AND Southampton take 1 more point than us from Sunderland (A), Stoke (H) If one of those things fails to happen, we stay up That is it in a nut shell & it's all so very ...............................Scary!.
  8. Well not quite actually.. although if we won the Wigan game we are safe automatically. Otherwise every team involved has a winnable fixture & a tough, although on last day lottery day still possible to get points from game. For me it is still way to close to call & what worries me is this: Wigan v Swansea: Swansea have Michu out & with Martinez being their former gaffer & with Swansea having nothing to play for i fear they will roll over to help him out as he must still have good friends there having in effect put them on the road to where they are today. Home banker for me. Sunderland v Stoke Again i fear for this game as with us having badly beaten them last week they will surely be fired up against a poor Stoke side & will likely win. Norwich v West Brom This is the key game for me.. But you have to say WBA are not exactly desperate for points which could well make the difference.. Hopefully it relaxes them but gives Norwich the jitters & with their final game being away at Man City this could yet be the fixture which saves us.... Scary though. QPR v Newcastle Well need i really say anything? as much of an away win banker as you could get & almost a gift 3 points for the geordies against a side who can't wait for the season to end. Villa v Chelsea Win & we are safe but its a tough game as we all know & i worry about the psychological effect of the 8-0. Clearly looking at the other games though this is by far our best escape route.. Even a draw drastically improves our chances... Reminds me of the Spurs home game last season... except Chelsea are a better team. We need a couple of those fixtures to go in our favour but you have to say all the teams we need to lose are surely favorites to win? A real spanner is that Swansea game for Wigan.. I just can't see how they won't throw that game. I agree here DOTSM. The only possible spanner in that Swansea game is the F.A Cup final distraction that is only a few days after & hopefully the Wigan plays will be subconsciously affected by it.....................here's hoping. Darn Wigan.....they really are a pain in the arse!
  9. I don't think anyone Ferguson is prepared to let go is worth touching with a barge pole. QPR made that mistake with dog eater Ji Sung Park. Anderson? A definite no from me. Anderson's Dog? - A definite yes from Ji Sung Park!
  10. Wouldn't it be great if FSW played all the under 19's from the Next Gen series & Lambo reciprocated by playing ours. That would mean a 2-0 win & 2 spot kicks. Please make it so!
  11. Actually Con all Hansen said was that you're a bloody genius & that as soon as the show is over he can't wait to check out your charts to confirm that hoof ball from Westwood. He also said you will never win anything with kids but that you will win the Champions League with Con charts Analysis. Keep posting Con - It's such an entertainment.
  12. But they'll still be battling Arsenal for third, so I doubt it will. Yes maybe but I hope with all the games they have had to play and the Eufa cup final coming up they will not be quite at their best. It's like I'm back in the 90's Sorry I meant the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup final It's like we're all back in the 60's now, psychedelic or what?
  13. Spot on! - Gabby is definitely after Usain Bolt's Double Double olympic records now. Go on Gabby you absolute beautie! Top top man!
  14. Con - hope your enjoying this genius tag, but remember genius is flawed
  15. We don't win 2 in a row either apparently Imagine 4 in a row........................now that would be outrageous!
  16. Okay, seriously. Can you stop with that. It makes you sound about 12 years old Trust me! Everyone will be calling them that next week. Also this is an internet forum where words get corrupted. So seriously, if it offends you.......tough! It doesn't offend me in the slightest, it's just very hard to take anything you say seriously when you're spouting juvenile tripe like that. That's all. Then it won't offend you also then will it if I state tht maybe I feel that your comments posted here make you seem to appear to be patronising, condescending & a bit of a grandad will it? ( Do you seriously believe That rival fans (especially locally) are going to splatter eachother with terms of endearment. Swear words & expletives are merely for expression only & it's your problem to deal with if you don't like it not mine. Therefore it's Wank Brom as far as I am concerned & I'm sure other posters will or will not agree. That's what forums are all about! Whether you take me seriously or not I really don't care. However, I will grant you your opinion because everyone has one & you as well as every body else is perfectly entitled to it.
  17. So glad Gabby scored that crucial winner yesterday. Imagine how desperate we would all be feeling right now if we were sitting on 38pts right now with Chelski up next! That goal has brought us time to the last day at least.
  18. Con - You must have the worst eyes in the world. Surely that's Heskey your watching there , not Westwood. Do you want me to get you booked in at Spec Savers?
  19. Because if you are Wank Brom & we are in the Championshit they will try & claim that they are the bigger club when we all know in reality that they are shit. It's also for that reason that they would be more than happy to help send us down. I like your word play. Wank Brom and Championshit. We're looking at a new Oscar Wilde here. Thanks Stef - You drive me wild!
  20. Yesss!! Get in my son! Don't you just love the Gabster?
  21. Okay, seriously. Can you stop with that. It makes you sound about 12 years old Trust me! Everyone will be calling them that next week. Also this is an internet forum where words get corrupted. So seriously, if it offends you.......tough!
  22. You're bang on CI but that is not going to help our cause next week. At least as it stands right now we know for certain that a win at Wigan in 2 weeks will definitely 100% who gives a shit about Wank Brom, Sunderland, Southampton, Newcastle et al be keeping us up. Even I can't argue with that!
  23. Typical jammy Albion. Playing the 2 Mancs when it doesn't matter instead of at a time when they they are sweating their bollocks off for tha result. Imagine if they had to win those games to stay up? Just like we have to next week against Chelski.
  24. CI is that a typo? Should shift actually have ben shit? As in putting us properly in the shit?
  25. Because if you are Wank Brom & we are in the Championshit they will try & claim that they are the bigger club when we all know in reality that they are shit. It's also for that reason that they would be more than happy to help send us down. again, you're mixing up their fans and their players If anything, their players would have been more concerned with finishing above liverpool. But they **** that up, mainly because they're not actually that good. They had a great start and fell off like most people knew they would. Now they're showing the kind of form they're probably more accurately reflects their overall ability Albion are 8th at the moment & that's where they will finish. Absolutely now't to play for. Norwich will be on a leash next week & will eat Wank Brom for breakfast!
