That foul throw highlights his fragility. Goes to pieces when it's not going his way. Nothing wrong with his physical attributes, and even in terms of ability I'd say he was decent. But his awaeness, intelligence and positional sense will show him up in the championship just as badly as it did in the premiership.

If it's regarding Hernandez, to be fair he was asking a question directed I him. He didn't just suddenly pipe up about him. Someone tweeted Xia saying he should activate the release clause, Tony just responded by saying there was no clause.

Held his hamstring before he was subbed off. Hopefully just felt a twinge and came off as a precaution but always worried when hamstrings are mentioned.

You must think running a football club is incredibly easy if you think he gets distracted from all his duties by writing a tweet for 10 seconds. If anything it shows just how hard he's working, that her clearly not wasting any previous time deciding whether these tweets are a good idea of not ;-)

Yeah, would be pretty damn happy with Wells. Him and McCormack would be a handful. Throw in Ayew, Grealish, Traore (maybe), Gestede, Kozak.. be the best attacking options we've had in a long time.

Would make sense for the Chinese to target a particular area of the U.K. If they had Villa and West brom, they could develop the area as a Chinese hub. Already been talk of things like football theme parks and such forth so it's obviously in the business plan of Tony, therefore good potential for others to piggy back off it

Preseasons to me are a chance to get new players looked at within the squad and play around with formations and tactics. It's as much about what doesn't work as what does. I don't think 'match fitness' comes in to it now as like you say, people don't treat it with much dedication.

Last I heard Morrison was having a decent pre season and they didn't want to let him go. Surely dents our chances hugely if he's in with a first team shot now. Unless he wants to move back to England, which would be strange imo.
