Using the 45% of to gain on 1st, 67% on 2nd, 100% on 3rd/4th as the definitions for successful plays:

2-7-ATL23: gain 13 yards: +8.3 yards

1-10-ATL36: gain 1 yard: -3.5 yards

2-9-ATL37: incomplete: -6.0 yards

3-9-ATL37: gain 16 yards: +7.0 yards

1-10-SF47: gain 1 yard: -3.5 yards

2-9-SF46: gain 46 yards: +40.0 yards

Drive: +40.8 yards

1-10-ATL18: gain 8 yards: +3.5 yards

2-2-ATL26: gain 3 yards: +1.7 yards

1-10-ATL29: gain 6 yards: +1.5 yards

2-4-ATL35: gain 5 yards: +2.3 yards

1-10-ATL40: gain 10 yards: +5.5 yards

1-10-MF: no gain: -4.5 yards

2-10-MF: incomplete: -6.7 yards

This is what i want to see to be honest, how can a team reliant on the read option work when they are in a hole early needing to come back.

tbf, the Seahawks are about as read-option reliant as the 9ers, and they came back.

Though the Seahawks alternative to read-option is to air it out, while the 49ers tend to fall back on power running...

If there's any defense that's dealt with read-option-type QBs, it's the Falcons.

4 games against Cam

1 game against RG3

1 game against Wilson

The Falcons have to have more games against this style than anybody else.

kkr: looks like you could scalp out your Falcons bet right now on betfair

Moneyline:

49ers - back @ 3.5

49ers-3.5: back @ 4.1

Turf? grass?

isn't it the same thing?

In US sports parlance, turf is the artificial stuff (be it Astroturf or Fieldturf or Nexturf or whatever).
