A City side, taken by Frankie Bunn and one including Elliott Ward, Freddie Eastwood and Danny Ireland trailed 4-0 to a Villa side full of Premiership players at the break Shaun Jeffers scored, assisted by Eastwood, netted five minutes into the second half to reduced the arrears slightly before Villa added more goals with former City youngster James Collins on the score-sheet.
