Makes you think, when we're discussing the merits of FFP and the £m's spent and lost in the Premier League, Newport's win over Eastleigh last night secures them a televised game against Man Utd in the 4th round of the F.A. Cup.  They'll receive around £500k overall.

These sort of cup runs literally save lower league clubs.  Newport had made a loss of £1.2m in their accounts to 30 June 2022 so this sort of cash boost is absolutely huge.

Indeed it's why I think they will allow Premier League owners to own lower league clubs sooner or later.

Glad Wolves won, be nice to see them and West Brom kick lumps out of each other next week,

They'll have a great time together i'm sure

Blues last minute winner. Means there's a chance we play them this season at least!

They won't beat Leicester away

This is literally the best part about the FA Cup, the lower league teams having a good run and making a few quid to stay afloat a bit longer
