Marka Ragnos Posted October 23, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted October 23, 2022 (edited) Are there "career coaches" or "almost-career coaches" in football management whom you particularly admire? Maybe they played a sport briefly, but not notably. They probably demonstrated a strong interest in coaching from a comparably young age, and may even possess specialised supplemental education in physical education, sports management, or exercise science (kinesiology) or some related discipline. My definition of a career coach is someone dedicated to the profession of coaching and who has generally served only as a coach in football, versus former player-coaches. Also: What do you think career-coaches offer? What are their shortcomings? Edited October 23, 2022 by Marka Ragnos
ender4
Steve Bruce. Made a whole career from going into desperate clubs, pissing off the fan-base, getting sacked with a massive payoff… and then doing the same at the next 17 clubs as well.
