Last night was all a bit of a disaster. I hope I didn't cause you too many wipes, although I think at least 2 (probably 3) were down to me pulling stuff that the rest of you wouldn't have. You'll just have to send me an invoice for your armour repairs. I must admit, I'm considering cancelling the sub. I like the game solo, and do like the chummy socialability of banter with you chaps in game, but I think that my complete lack of experience in instances was certainly telling on you lot, who bless you, are less likely to have a go than any pug. I wasn't really finding the pressure of being responsible to others, and being the sole cause of 3 of the wipes, much fun to be honest, and if thats the future of the game from l60, I think I might get to 60 then leave. I think what got to me was that I was completely unable to read the game. With the tank shouting "dont heal", then apparently performing the same manoever and expecting healing, along with a few really stupid moments like my premature ankhing, just made it hard work really. Or I could just start another character and redo all those instances I missed the first time round... ....

Nays, I think you must have been the guy who outbid me on that shield yesterday! It had a buyout of 30g, but the auction was "long" when I went out yesterday for beer! I think I had been the only bidder and my offer was up for about 10g. But I also bought one for 5g which whilst having better armour, and a higher block, also gives +33 healing, as I think Im going to have to go down the resto route.

Hi - yep, Voodooface has rejoined us, I think he's simply noticed the number of guys now hitting the high levels, it seems someone new dings 60 daily now. Theres 171 of us at last count, so small, but no fall out.All levels including my sister, who is a l21 warlock! But they seem nice guys, and thats the important thing. Im too old to be screamed at by 15 yo's "heal ffs"

Monday night our guild assembled on the steps of Undercity for a group photo! Possibly the best use of the shamens "far sight" spell! Then we took off for southshore and a running battle for about 1/2 ensued, with ally flying in to assist. We packed up, but the ally then gave Tauren Milla pounding for the next hour aparently, making it an unplayable area for all those questing. Good fun and 44 honour kils to my credit! I like my guild, they are kind of relaxed and helpful not at all tense or uptight, but people are now starting to ding 60 daily. ITs cool to belong to a guild that suits your character.

This thread is definately an epic read in itself, from the "coo its just like GTA - with cows and blunderbuss's" to the above, bleating that in an obscure part of the game many casual gamers wont see, let alone understand the abbrebviations of, is too difficult. Its interesting to see the learningcurve - worth having a read one night when your waiting for a patch to install.

It frightened me. And Im not 6. Whilst kids are not stupid, they are developing and emotionally vunerable people. The shattering factor isn't that the kid was scared.Scary tings happen in kids lives.Its the breech of trust in the adult that allowed it to happen. The kid was set up to be frightened by someone it trusts. Thats the scary thing. Thats a relationship,mildly damaged. Wern't there bad things that happened when you were a kid that stick with you all your life. Things that in hindsight 30 years on do seem funny, or an over reaction at the time, but at the time were the most important things in the world to you? For example, and this sounds really soft,but when i was about that age, some awful relative whilst travelling in a car, snatched my teddy bear, and hung it out the car window whilst going along by its ear. I dontknow, I wasnt a partiularly soft kid, nor that attached to it, but at that moment, it seemed the most important thing in the world. Bloody hell, it still makes me mad now thinking about it. And I never ever really ever made an affort to like or get on with that family member from that point on. I even had a moment of shadenfreude when I heard about the fat sluts recent divorce. Another example, a woman at work, who by all accounts is a very good single mother, had splipped into a habit on not making sure her son went to bed immediately when told. Hell, she worked for a living, had 2 jobs and had to look after him from morn to eve. But the kid started to get a little bit obsessed by death, and Im sure some of it was to do with the fact the films he ended up watching, even on tv were late night ones designed for adults. Now, at 5, kids should be out discovering the joys of life, bikes in the park, poking dogshit with sticks to se what happens, playing conkers, not asking deep probing questions about what happens to bodies when they decompose.

How many Eels you want mate? I cant help but catch the bloody things..... Ive sold 30 over the last 3-4 days earning about 35g. Ive 30 in the bank. I even gave 3 away to the guy who intro'ed me into clanwolfpack as he needed them for a quest. If your going to use them rather than sell em on, I'll swap for some wildvine, ghost mushroom or have em cheap. Say 10 for 5 gold?

You dont need to be a high level to be great! Last night fishing off Reventusk Village. I taught some l60 mage with all the purples that it doenst matter how fancy your outfit, if you want stonescale eels, theres no substitute for the sheer tedium of l300 fishing. I caught 20 to his 5, even if he did have a fancy rod. Theres another 20-30g in the bank! Ps if anyone is in Og before I get home, can you get me some crystal vials and post them to me? I'll send cash by return. cheers.

I haven't read many of the posts in this thread to be perfectly honest so I apologise if Im going over old groud, I'll catch up a few pages at a time this evening. But with the lies that appear to have been told by Neville, and the complete inability to clinch a deal, I can't really see this guy is any improvement on what we have in place already. I really hope these guys walk away and Rothschilds find someone who can conduct business in a businesslike fashion.

I'm sure limpid would love to host a site, and its not as if you have anything else to do Dan. Sam, Limpid and myself willl be l60 soon enough, and with a reinvigorated Bicks + the rest of you, theres a nice little hardcore there.

I am *so* embarassed. That guy Uraquai is on my friends list. Frankly, I pride myself on not knowing what to do in this game. its huge, I'm stupid. Not a great combo. But as a warrior, I bumped into this guy near Hammerfall about 3 weeks bacvk when he was in his low 30's and I about 5 levels higher. He was clueless, but seemed a nice guy to chat to. So I spent 2 nights "babysitting him" basically sitting back and healing him whilst he completed a couple of q's. Now, I remember thinking he hadn't even in his mid 30's really quite understood some of the subtlties of the game, but that makes me cringe because I know the guy!

I'm at my fathers house for a few days, but if you can wait til Friday, I'l post you some to help. I can let you have 25g on a nil interest basis, but the mount will cost you 90g. 72g to purchase and 18g to learn. Nayson kindly summoned me to Kargath, where I spent over a week grinding elementals for various types of stone. Each full bag slot should on average net you nearly 20s, so you ought to earn 2-3g an evening without too much worry, and more with the occasional drops of auctionable stuff. You will get deeprock salt and elemental earth which you can auction for more than the vendors give. If you want a hand over the weekend, let me know and I can come and heal you whilst you jsut go from one elemental to another.

I like Daffy Duck. And I'll bet Tony does too. To be honest, he's not so different from our manager. Always seems to be going wrong for him. Can never bring himself to blame himself when his schemes backfire. Says stupid things. Actually Ellis fits that criteria as well. Awaits flame for this post for effect.
