Not sure about inappropriate but certainly insensitive. We've got a rule in our house that you can smoke weed inside but if you want to smoke fags you've got to do it either outside or in your room with the door shut. It's more because of the smell than anything though. That will be the set up in our house as well, and to be honest I doubt I'll smoke in my room much myself, makes everything smell.

i have to say,that is the one thing i do miss about smoking..its the going outside and having a bit of crack with people you dont know. it's brilliant. Also, never light your own cigarette, that's my rule of thumb when I smoke. Easy way to start a conversation is by asking for a light. No prizes for guessing which sex I normally ask for a light first Absolutely.

I smoked because I thought I was a rock and roll superstar. It went hand in hand with my whole lifestyle at the time. I have to say Trim that's not really my personal experience at all. But you are right in general, smoking is in essence a weakness. It's not justifiable, and no-one would really say otherwise.

What principle, out of interest?

I smoke, I enjoy the social aspect of it, and actually I just enjoy smoking anyway. Always have done, but I don't 'need' to smoke i.e. if I'm at home by myself I won't smoke, and can easily go for a week at a time without it even crossing my mind. I smoke much more at Uni though because there are always other smokers around. It's not really a justifiable habit though. It has definite minor short term effects and possible long term catastrophic ones too. It's also **** expensive if you smoke a lot. However, I do think that a lot of the time I get on better with smokers only because they tend to (in my experience) have a bit more of a carefree attitude towards life, which I find quite appealing. Smoking will have to go when I start having responsibilities towards others and a less hedonistic lifestyle though certainly, along with a load of other stuff, but whilst I'm young I don't really give a shit.

You'd never know that you've got a wee bit of experience at making speeches and motivating people! Great stuff. Out of interest, has MON ever asked you to speak to the players for any reason?

Liked school, like Uni, have generally enjoyed life. I worry about when things might not run so smoothly though.
