  1. Prodigy - Climbatize On my brand new sound system. Sounding pretty **** sweet. There really is nothing like a new soundsystem to help you rediscover tunes that you havn't listened to for a while.
  2. Yep, let's all hope for a one party state, what could be better than decades of the Conservatives... :|
  3. Metallica have a track called word removed? Or is it clearing in the woods? ;-) Anyway, The track you're after is 'The Thing That Should Not Be'
  4. General, 1. In all seriousness, if Gareth Barry continues to express a clear desire to leave the club, perhaps even puts in a transfer request, and Liverpool come up with the money that we were originally asking for, then will he really be staying? And wouldn't that mean that we were keeping an unhappy player at the club? Something which, as you yourself have acknowledged, is counter-productive? In summation, do you think that the announcement by the football club was a little premature? Regardless of whether he stays or goes, I think that the club have handled this issue exceptionally well, but I find it difficult to believe that this one is over yet. If it is, please make sure the player comes out and says so himself (preferably with an apology), so that we can see that his commitment is genuine. 2. Will the third kit be available for purchase this season, and if so, when? Thanks, Patrick
  5. Ta very much BOF. These posts are invaluable to VT and I wouldn't have a hope in hell of understanding what was going on without them.
  6. Well, we saw how much support Miliband.D had from the Blairites before Brown took over. I think it's his - if, of course, he wants it...
  7. I disagree entirely. As it happens I don't actually blame him for fancying a move, it's a gamble to expect us to be in the champions league before he retires and I don't blame him for fancying a crack at it. I just despise the way he's gone about it. But with regards to the quote, history provides countless examples of players (often manipulated by their money-grabbing agents) who think they know 'what's best for their career' but turn out to have made entirely the wrong decision. As Simon Jordan pointed out a week or two back, our very own Wayne Routledge is an example.
  8. edited. Do not post on poster. Do not fill the General's thread up with comments on other posters. Blandy General, do you know if and when the 3rd kit for this season will be available? Keep up the good work!
  9. A fair concern Tony, and by extension I don't think that you would wish your children to adopt any sort of snobbery themselves, but as someone who went to a private school I think it's fair to say that those types are easily avoided at all but the poshest of boarding schools. The friends that I made are generally some of the most down to earth people I know, and are in the majority. In answer to the thread it would be middle class. My parents are from pretty humble backgrounds but both managed to do well enough for themselves to afford me the comfortable lifestyle that I enjoyed growing up. Class is not entirely dead though, and I would agree with Paddy that other than the absolute silver spoon dickheads, snobbery has almost become an issue of inverted significance.
  10. Yes. I think 16m and Finnan is a good price and want this nonsense over. I'm just sad that a player I respected so much has turned out to be a total prick.
