Enough to compete in the bottom half possibly cosofsaunders assuming that £30m is for signings only rather than for wages as well. But after the years of treading water near the bottom of the table I think it would take a lot more than £30m to compete in the league as a whole and we would need a big change in direction of our football club for that to happen.

Re Klinsman I was told Sunday from within Bodymoor by 2 people  but personally think its pure rumour . I actually think only Randy Lerner knows what is going on and has not confided in anyone within the club which is causing as much speculation internally as it with us as fans . After the issues surrounging leaked conversations and broken trusts and people generally trying to stir things up after being in Directors corporate hospitality that RL has decided to keep his own councel on this issue . I don't know if they have agreed or a deal with any outside party  or even in early talks but I do know that RL has been advised to take any offer that comes within 200 million . A figure they don't expect to get or certainly didn't up to 3 weeks ago when speculation started to come out .

1. Nobody in their right mind would build a new concert Arena in Aston/Witton when we've already got the already revamped LG Arena and NIA close at hand doing very well for themselves.

2. Any talk of moving to a new ground is clearly mental as (a) we can't fill a 43k stadium and rarely have and Villa Park is rightly considered one of the best grounds in the country as it is. Not to mention if we did move to a new stadium near the NEC we surely could no longer keep the name Aston Villa

3. When people move grounds its usually for two reasons they need extra capacity (see Arsenal) or their current ground is a shithole (see Man City)

Vlaar has improved a lot this season. On a good day i'd rate him at about 7/10
