Yeah, i'm in the same boat. Can't wait for the bloke to leave/be sacked
Two seasons of beyond belief wretched football haven't been outweighed by 3 decent results. If we're top 6 by December i may cut him some slack
I can't warm to the bloke or his ideals at all

Ben Arfa's a great little player. Just needs to get his head sorted
-
with another low crowd expected on Sunday, maybe Lerner's finally realised we need to spend to not only improve the side but to get the missing thousands back through the gates
he could of course just sack Lambert and gain brownie points that way, but as long as this 'alleged' 8m bid isn't the last attempt bring it on
20m on a striker, winger and this bloke (if we absolute must) before the deadline may keep us mid table for another season until we get someone better in the boss seat
-
I am pretty sure Lambert knows what he is doing.
that's a bold statement
-
Most of us would jump at the chance of Martinez managing us yet he also wants the player at Everton, If he is such a bad player would this really be the case or is it the managers can see things we dont.
what a load of nonsense. Martinez may feel that Cleverly's the missing part of his team at Everton. Whereas we know that's not the case at Villa as we're badly in need of creativity and goals
we know we've barely got a pot to piss in, so spending what little we do have on yet another fairly average CM seems a tad bonkers
it's like when you need a number 10 but spend what little you have on another striker ... all over AGAIN
-
Redmond isnt, in fact hes rated very highly and had a good season last season
Have to disagree
-
All this talk of strikers is nonsense. We need a tricky winger.
Yeah because Bent, Gabby and Weimann have it all covered don't they ?
Are you seriously expecting Benteke & Kozak to come back with a bang after such severe injuries ? It could take them months to get back up to speed ... IF they ever do. Plenty of players NEVER regain their touch/form after such bad injuries
Talk about taking a gamble
Not that I don't think we need another striker, but there are also plenty of strikers who come back from injury fine.
and there are plenty that don't. we appear to be risking it all on TWO coming back as if nothing ever happened
i wouldn't rate those chances as high

You can see why another midfield grafter is high on the list of priorities ... NOT
Westwood's played better than Delph so far this season, and with the arrival of Sanchez should be given licence to use his passing talents a bit further up the pitch alongside Delph
Where's the width/creativity/goals coming from ?
If you listen to people re: cleverly, if he was played more advanced he could add the creativity we're after
People say the same about Delph, but it's all based on presumption rather than anything we've seen to back it up
Unless Delph's being sold and Cleverly's coming in to replace him as the workhorse of course

Who should we be signing?
a **** striker!

Please **** off Lambert.

I can see the logic in this signing if Cleverly is played in a more advanced role.

Delph's shown nothing to show he can play wide. Not to mention he adds no goal threat

Is he likely to score twenty goals or create any ? If not not **** interested
The weight of expectation on poor Benteke's shoulders to come back from a horror injury and be our only goal threat is **** ridiculous. He might take months to get up to speed, and he may NEVER get back to where he was.
Same goes for Kozak at a much lesser expectancy level of course
GET US A PROPER **** STRIKER IN FFS!
-
If we get above 15k i'll be amazed
-
Why does he need to be as good as Ross Barkley? He's one of the best talents England has produced in over a decade.
and also a totally different type of player
might as well ask why Delph isn't as good as Barkley
-
10million, plus wellbeck
Or 9m without Wellbeck
-
Rarely get a decent chance, did Richardson not lay one on a plate for Gabby at Stoke? There were some great crosses that Cissokho put in, even Hutton rolled one across the 6 yard box, where were they? Its like you just want the striker just to stand there and all he has to do is tap it in.
I thought that was what Darren Bent, was, is, used to be, never was, for
Bent used to score tap ins because he had the nous to be where he was supposed to be. Neither Gabby nor Andi have that kind of positioning sense

Desperately need a winger and a striker. And I don't mean an untried striker, I mean one (like Remy) that would walk into first 11 and score
You can go on about us having the likes of Gabby, Andi, Bent and Kozak .. but any of those will have to have an incredible season to even get into double figures. We're WAY to reliant on Benteke and nobody knows if he will come back the same player
Get a Remy in, get a Gabby/Bent out to make way for their wages

very underrated player. and always more likely to make the important pass than say Delph

Gabby ain't going anywhere...
that's the worry
-
He's shit. And will be playing in the Championship within 5 years

Welbeck is been told he can leave the circus that is MUFC.
wouldn't touch him with a bargepole.
if you can't cut the mustard playing alongside internationals every week ...
Yeah, look at Dion Dublin, Ashley Young, Mark Bosnich, and Paul McGrath. They couldn't get a place at united and I certainly wouldn't want those donkeys here.
BUT ....
They all looked GREAT before going to United. Wellbeck's done nothing but look shit full stop yet
Thanks

Really?!
Yes really, maybe you'd be so kind as to point me to something i've missed in his career thus far that doesn't scream out 'bog average will never make it'

Gabby misses an absolute sitter against Stoke - no problem
Bent pulls a great save against Orient and pulls a tight angled shot wide against Hull and he's shit
That's the Villa logic
