    I think last night was a statement as well from Houllier to Lerner/the Board - If you get rid of key players like Young, Downing or whoever else was linked to other clubs, this is what will remain. So I hope Randy/The board were watching.

    No it isn't because Gabby wasn't as heavy on the weights then - he's losing his pace by doing that and has more chance of hurting himself and is useless when it comes to his final ball lately.

    I back the manager and the team, but if we are mounting for a top 4 challenge under Houllier (any season doesn't matter) then Gabby(since he bulked)/Petrov/Heskey are just not good enough anymore and may have to get the chop and go - Clark and Bannan have done themselves huge favours tonight. To win the FA cup anyway we would of needed Darren Bent. The League is so tight its 4 points either way, I wouldn't want to win the FA Cup and be relegated.

    For the first time since 1977 St Pauli beat Hamburg, and it was on HSV's turf, HSV 0-1 St Pauli, right up there with Villas win at Old Trafford for me.

    The postponed derby between HSV and St Pauli is on for Wednesday at 5.45 One of the most heated derbies in Germany, SANKT PAULI ftw!

    Speaking of Real Madrid.. 4-1 against R.Sociedad - Ronaldo 2 goals to his huge tally, Adebayor scoring again, 2 in 2 for him (1 league 1 Copa Del Rey), already better than Dzeko, and Kaka scored too. Messi's hat trick against Atletico..has to be the worst hat trick I've seen from him..maybe worse than..SAVO'S

    Guimaraes goaless draw against Nacional at home, no doubt Nacional will be the happier of the two! Porto vs Rio Ave tonight too.
