I don't get the Gabby hate. He is an engine on the team and has been the only player to consistently give shit. He may disappear at times but he's never listless. And hes always good for a few good defensive track backs a game. Marc Albrighton is what he is. I think he's much better as a sub late in the game than playing a whole 90 minutes.

He looked like shit for England this summer, but I'd welcome James back with open arms. Class act and professional, I think.

I agree this will be a big campaign for Gabby, but I think attacking football + competent striking partners + a competent manager will do wonders for ol' dude. He's my favorite Villa player. Hopefully he retires at Villa Park.

I am not looking forward to watching Brandon Weeden. He's Andy Dalton at best, and although Dalton is solid, he's also like 6 years younger. I would have much rather spent the pick on another lineman for Colt McCoy. I think he would have been fine once he got some targets/protection. (Plus Richardson will be a hogg.) I've read Benjamin has been hustling as well in practice.
