    I'm not sure any amount of money would make me feel any less gutted IF this is true. Even £150mill and I'd be disappointed to lose him.

    "Let him leave" -- makes no sense. A sale is dictated by any given club meeting the set asking price. If Man City or whoever are willing to pay the amount we require (I'd guess north of £120million) then we would sell--same with any player at any club.

    I don't see McGinn as anywhere near as important to this team as the aforementioned were at the time to theirs (excluding Downing). McGinn is a player in a position that we should be looking to upgrade and £45-50million would certainly help us on the way to doing that.
