  1. Bob Bradley seems like a good manager IMO. Worked his way up the coaching ranks, won Gold cup with USA, Confederation Cup final beating Spain 2-0 and being 2-0 up against Brazil in the final. Done this with a team that on paper looks like a sack of shite. However I'd of wanted him to at least of managed a stepping stone sort of club in Europe before managing us. Right now, he is just too much of a risk.
  2. Don't understand why Beye or Lichaj playing cb when we got Clark. Would have though KM would play Weiman behind Heskey seen as he is probably a better option and knows Rapid Vienna well.
  3. Ciaran's premier league clean sheet record continues .

Alrbighton and Milner were the cream of the crop in a fantastic team performance. Nice possible farewell to Milner. Shame his talent may be wasted at City.
  5. We played awesome in that first half, we are playing some lovely football. Mighty mighty Marlon Harewood.
  6. Hope non of our attackining players take a knock in this one.
  7. Didn't realise Sidwell and Davies were injured too?
  8. Our attacking options on the bench leave a lot to be desired. Milner start, wonder how he will be recieved.
  9. Moyes just on TS too, dismissed Villa role stating he will be at Everton this year.
  10. David Moyes for the record just stated on TalkSport he wouldn't consider joining Villa this season. No real shock in that.
  11. Hi General Krulak, For the record, can we complete signings of players without a manager in place?
  12. This whole situation is just a total discrace. I hope it can be sorted as soon as possible. We are Aston Villa!
  13. Roque Santa Cruz consistant? I never thought I'd hear anyone say that. I would probably pick the Hesk above him.
  14. Latest unsubstantial article from the Daily Mirror claiming we have given the OK to the Milner sale, along with Ireland and McGeady deal shite too; Villa OK Milner Move and Go for McGeady - Exclusive Cash plus Nicky Shorey!? There making up new scenarios everyday.
  15. Preseason means nothing, but that, his goals again prem teams Spurs and Man U are all you can go by against decent opposition. Was just merely a comment on his performances so far. If one of our players, like Albrighton has an awesome preseason a lot of fans then want him to start.
  16. Beckfords apparantly had a cracking preseason with Everton, scoring a few goals along the way. I think most of there signings are just for improving their squad strength.
  17. Everton have signed a few players if I'm not mistaken. Magaye Gueye, Jermaine Beckford, Ján Mucha, and João Silva. OK not exactly big name signings, but Moyes usually has a good nose for players.
  18. He is a foreigner..unproven in Scotland..meaning MON wont have a look. I dont think he even know who the lad is...too far off shore... I couldn't agree with you more .
  19. It seems to be a case of keep Milner and get no one else in or sell Milner and buy two or three players. So thats the choice I would prefer the sell Milner buy two or three new players option, that is as long as the players we bring in are not deadwood. Milner wants out, cash in, get a striker, midfielder and a right back.
  20. But they have the money and we do not I really dont think he is that good, not the best scoring record in france and everytime i have seem him play, he looks poor, dont see what the fuss is about Keanes scoring record isn't great in the past few years, bar his time in the mickey mouse SPL, and he seems one of the only other options we have. This guy, is scoring more goals each season, 16 last, compared to 11 the season before. He is a reasonably big lad too, so probably a better fit for the premier league. In my opinion, better value for money that Hunterlaar or Keane. Just think we'd have a shot at getting this guy.
  21. But they have the money and we do not Well that would come down to the sale of Jimmy then in the near future, just like the Keane deal. Post milner sale bringing in; Ireland, Loic Remy and possibly McGeady, I'd be very happy. That if we can raise around £30million over this transfer window. However, its not gonna happen though .
  22. Maybe we should have a look at that Loic Remy fella that Spurs, Pool and West Ham have been after. Stoke have had a bid accepted for him (reported £12m) and he is flying out for talks. Been desribed as the key member of a new look French national team front line. May be a better option than an ageing Robbie Keane, as we already have 2 30+ strikers, value for money as he is only 23. Sure he'd rather be here than Stoke.
  23. I`d be very surprised if this was true. Yeah if that is true then that would be a fantastic deal for us. Seems unbelievable.
  24. Happy Harry is saying Milner deal is the key to ignite the summer transfer market. In other words he is probably saying once Milner goes they'll have money off us for Keane to bring someone in. Milner deal key to transfer market - Redknapp
