Shit players don't score ten goals from midfield while playing in a shit team in the Premiership. We don't get enough goals from midfield with the players we currently have at the club.

Who gives a shit who he supports, wind your neck in. He's not the type of player to go into games half arsed. He's a battler who'll give his best anytime he pulls on the shirt. He did the first time round and he's doing it now for Sunderland even though he is home sick. If we have any money get him in Eck.

I'd love it if Craig was signed up for the Villa again. IhDon the back of my 2009/10 home shirt and alway thoughtwe'd regret selling him. I knew he was a good player. Any more talk of this though, or just Villa Talk speculation?

His brother did just fine today when he came off the bench for Sunderland. If Craig had of left and not come out as being a Birmingham fan (although I'm still not convinced on who he REALLY supports, us or them) then people would go on at how we've needed a goal scoring midfielder for ages, shouldn't have let him go, another Cahill etc Craig Gardner is vastly underrated. I'd welcome him back at the Villa anytime. Gary looks a class act too.

As much as I really like GG I'd start with Ireland next game if he is fit to keep his confidence up and he had been playing well. Let's face it our captain Petrov will not be dropped and I wouldn't want him to be either! More of Gary from the bench with another handful of starts between now and the end of the season! He's gradually working his way into the first team proper now, great to see. According to my Sky Sports app he came off on the 88th minute and had a very good debut game for one so young!

Yep I'd rather see Lichaj than Warnock in the team once fit. Warnock has been a bit better this season but still way short on quality.

Hendrie more Than held his own in the Villa team and in my opinion it was a better side back then. Bannan can't even get into the side consistently. Of course I can't predict the future either, just give opinion haha!

Sorry but Hendrie was better than Bannan is. Hendrie is sold short by lots of the Villa faithful and he loved the club! Bannan will never do anywhere near as much for Villa as Hendrie did!

I do like Bannan as I think he has a lot of talent I just have my doubts about him ever making it into our first team. I would have those doubts whether it McLeish or someone else as manager. He had a great opportunity and pissed it against the wall with the drink driving! For me he tries the Hollywood ball too much. People will say they don't come off because the other players aren't on the same wavelength, if that is the case you would think he would play simple balls more often than the Hollywood pass. Yes I do remember his pass for Albrightons goal last season it was beautiful!

It's his own fault he is out of the team, the shirt is now Ireland's to lose. Ireland is a better footballer too in my opinion.

It would be very silly to consider selling Ireland now, he's really enjoying his football at the moment and playing well too! Yes he has a big contract but that doesn't mean we should sell him!

It will be a different shirt next season, and rumour has it made by Macron. It makes no difference to Me! I might still get Gardner 4 on this years top. I don't care about continuity of this seasons squad numbers etc Fair do's.
