He said he played against Brighton even tho injured and people didn’t want him playing. He genuinely loves the Villa, I wouldn’t be so quick to think he isn’t gunna play. Saying that the come down from such a high if they win the WC would be hard to gain focus.

They briefly discussed Watkins chance of making England squad for World Cup on radio today emphasis on the word ‘briefly’ the guy shouldn’t even be playing in the PL let alone make World Cup. People have questioned me many times - Watkins is not the striker to take us forward. Awful.
