  1. In a non argumentative question. How much influence do you guys think a manager can possibly have over a team performance in 38 games? I'm actually curious now. Why arnt managers worth way more money if it's the case? ( Ignore the very top managers because they create actual equity shifts)
  2. No they never lol. To think this or take their media output as serious is amazing. How much money you think went on the top X teams that are above Leicester to win the prem? They won a killing still. Did they make as much as usual? No
  3. Did I say It was solely down to him? Did I say Leicester team was solely down to him? No? You keep trying to make some smart ass point which nobody has made. Is ranieri shift on the team winning more than 3%? Hell no. Otherwise multiple teams would hire him so so fast if he's capable of that much influence.. Everything in this thread just shows why bookies a multi billion profit industry. It's actually amazing.
  4. We should hire ranieri. He's better at getting to the top than any other manager
  5. Peps team destroyed the league. Was it down solely to him? No. Managers closer the top have more influence over a team. Hence why ranieri struggled a lot . And got to nowhere to the top. .keep trying to poke holes.
  6. Ok? Pep team did destroy BL. Do I think he's worth X amount more than another manager? No? It's BM FFS. Lol. Most managers destroy germany Great point though mate.
  7. Maybe I'll wait for your reply about xg whilst were at it
  8. Show me when something like that is related to a manager. Your turn. @hanoi. Last time you did this. I proved you wrong. Saying I'll never reply. I replied about the xg shit and you have nothing to reply Want to see how much equity shift there is with hiring managers on a league position? No manager is worth more than you think it is. Ranieri is nowhere near a 500 equity shift. Ranieri is worth Less than 3 % at a max to Leicester. His actual influence for a league title is definitely less than 1. @lepal. Yes I'm 29 but it's my job to evaluate these things. It's how we make money by exploiting you guys who think like this
  9. Honestly amazed you guys think ranieri had a lot of influence with Leicester team winning the league. It's so low its silly. Managers have a super low influence on a team overall. And you're claiming a manager like ranieri has an influence to over achieve like 14 places in one season. It's madness. Why don't every team in the world hire him if he's capable of doing that. Maybe it's due to external factors out of his control
  10. We're talking about his influence over it. Keep up. What is his influence over the team . What are you talking about?
  11. Haha can you show me your workings that he has a influence over a team ? 500-1 bookies that they will win the league. What was the odds next season?
  12. Because If you think a manager is capable of achieving that much, he must be a genius. I never said you guys claim that he is a genius
  13. He is easily responsibly for less than 3%. Would happily argue less than 1%. Given he's never done that and nobody has or will overachieve like that again. Sorry I used 0% Maybe I should say 0.5%
  14. So one season means more than every other season where he sucked? Was he a genius for 1 year he managed to over achieve... And then after he just forgot how to be a football manager? Can't tell if you guys are being serious giving this guy credit for this lol.
  15. And how much was that down to him? Do you think?
  16. Huh? What you said make no sense..what was his influence for them to win the league? Why can't nobody replicate it? Maybe because it's actually a tiny % towards the manager Love to know the bookies odds straight after to know their % of winning the league after they won the league because this guy shows he's the greatest. Ranieri. Can't beat carpenters at international level.
  17. Why. You think ranieri can over achieve like that? I can't tell if you guys are serious. Of course he gets 0 credit for it. Maybe like 3%. Why cant he do it at another team? Why was he a failure in his previous management? Whats difference between ranieri and some other counter attacking manager? What was his credit? What did he do right? Why arnt you guys going crazy over Smith for not over achieving at villa? You think a manager can have that much of a swing on a teams results if you think ranieri deserves credit for that. Its just not realistic.
  18. Also foden is class. If grealish showed that much promise at his age we will be creaming our pants every second. Grealish is a better player now...but he is like 5 years older.
  19. But the recent media interview I was taking about how it's such fine margins between a manager being a failure and success isn't bollocks. So many fans react to short term knockout results as a reason for a manager to be successful or not. And it's just absurd. If managers can lose 2 or 3 games against the worst teams in the league and it's acceptable..why do they get judged to the extreme losing 1 or 2 games over a knockout period against the best teams of the world.
  20. Zatman. Of all people...using this as a measurement to judge a manager. Barca pep is the best team ever played. No team is better in the PL than the previous 2 years of city. That team was phenomenal. Liverpool are also class at the moment but I'll be amazed if in 10 years when their autobiography comes out, that they say Liverpool is a better side. Liverpool have been so average against lower teams this season. (It's also been a praise of them...be average and get by , so save energy to crush the higher teams with their press) but I don't know. City just better.
  21. The only reason why pep isn't considered a great there is because he got really unlucky in champs league...was it his fault Mueller missed a pen? No. And it goes to show how lucky knockout tournament football is. Which he even made an interview about recently how fine lines it is..and never about the manager. He destroyed the German league..more than any manager..
  22. Yet, a lot of BM fans would say they were much better under pep.
  23. No? You think ranieri is capable of massively over achieving a side to win the title? I can't tell if this is serious? You think ranieri is responsible for that achievement?? Maybe we should give Walsh credit for recruiting Mahrez and Kante.. But wait...Walsh got hired by everton and then got sacked because his awful signings. If you give ranieri credit for that...why should people who have unlimited money and need managers to over achieve like ranieri did , not hire him? Maybe it was ranieri offering pizza after a good win which made the difference. Like the usual evidence, no. He's just clueless You guys need to learn how much luck is involved in football. Of course.genie likes that post . At least we know that ranieri is good enough to over achieve to win title but is such a stupid manager that he can't beat carpenters at international level.
  24. The recent pep interview? I thought I made that clear in the first sentence.
