  1. Probably Gareth wanting sterling or rashford in that position. judging from Ings placement, he wants 3 goal scores as the front 3 with jack being more midfieldy in style, it’s a headache for lil Gareth brain.
  2. Tbh, that wasn’t anywhere near jacks best game, and still MOTM
  3. I agree. southgate bashing was funny last month, now it’s just petulant. from both ITV and sky’s interviews it seems he’s impressed with Jack, but wants him more in offensive areas. Which I would agree with.
  4. Southgate’s Sky interview was a bit more kinder to jack, still had a criticism in it, “we need to find a way to get him more in them dangerous areas”
  5. sad to see wales losing. England have been shit, tactically going down the right and leaving jack out, good job that he switch sides and got that assist. Easy peach for Calvert-Lewin
  6. Click bait marketing 101... emotional reactions will get you more noticed than a smart analytical breakdown.
  7. Noooooooooooo!!! my emotions are going to be ripped to shreds... I’ll be happy to see him play some decent minutes.. but why against wales, He’s going to destroy us
  8. Probs king and/or Rico Henry but more likely no one
  9. being from wales I don’t give a shit if jack plays this one. Tbh I rather he didn’t, I don’t want him to break my heart
  10. Aha you got to where I was it was hoping to get to. Our recruiting for the academy has been great in this window. I just hope that we got a bunch of jacks coming through together.
  11. All transfers are a gamble... be it young or old. older players, what you get in the short term can bite you in the long term.. more prone injuries decline in performance and fat wages.. younger is what you said. the safest gamble is real long term and get great kids in to the academy... don’t cost a lot with fees and wages and have so much time to develop around the clubs philosophy and playing style. But the drawback is that’s probably a 5 year wait until they are ready... and that’s still an if they can... This method is good if you want to build a long term legacy team, such as peps Barcelona or fergies Man U.
  12. This is one of the main reasons why I’m not as keen on signing older players. They do a job for now, and it all looks good, but after a season or two, you’ll be getting diminishing returns. Just like the names above. the trick is getting players on the up, so we get more out of them, and for whatever reason we have to sell them, we can get some profit out of it too. like the Watkins vs Wilson debate. In terms to investment to the club and squad we are more likely getting a better return from ollie, he has better chances to be in the team longer and improving each season with us, which makes the club better and if the club chooses/needs to sell him, it will get a nicer return from him. However, Wilson is at his peak, and each season he is closer to regressing due to his age. So if that does happen, it only brings down his value, to his potential sell on fee and to the squad. how I would of seen each signing is in the terms of short term and long term. callum fixes the problems of now, such as ensuring safety ollie fixes the problem of building a challenging squad for the future. also, so far he looks like he’s fixing the problem of now too.. nice business villa
  13. here’s an interesting video about manure’s debt
  14. I hope to see in at least in one game this season jack and Ross in the middle. Linking up like iniesta and xavi. A dribbler who can pass with a passer who can dribble
  15. Soo Freddie, but that’s why we love him
  16. Never too old to learn anything new also, he has 3 months of potentially not playing. So what’s the worse to happen, he gets better with his left foot
  17. Maybe currently, but if he retrains, he could easily surpass Taylor. he got the theory, he just needs to get on with working on his left foot
  18. Key point to my statement is retraining... it’s his his best bet if he don’t want the “boring season”
