The facet of his game that I think we’ve missed most is his pressing and tactical awareness. Liverpool beat because TAA kept dropping deep and pinging balls past our midfield. 

Buendia would have been alert to this and got on TAA but done it in a way without upsetting our defensive balance and shape.

I think having 6/7 days between games again will allow him more prep time and more time to refine his ideas for certain situations.

We tried the fb overlap on 4 occasions in that game and every time we caused panic in their defence. 

It’s all we should have carried on to do as you know it creates space in the middle but we didn’t and well meh.

I’d love it if we can summon a ten game winning run in the league. Then Real , Barca etc here we come.

A couple of poor goals to concede however we should have been 4 up and won comfortably by about 6 or 7. Missing chances at key points in the game is what we need to cut out.
