Yes, I read that and thought it was a good article. Though quite depressing, when you get to the final bit, that 'the case against' Man City is basically 'can they be arsed to win it again this season'! (Probably about right though)

I’d say the case against Man City is the fact they’ve lost Gundogan and Mahrez who would often produce ridiculous moments of brilliance in games and drag them through.

Still pretty depressing though as that’s their only weakness.

  2. You can see that in his first few games he looked like scoring and assisting but didn’t work out. His confidence dropped and wasn’t performing as he’d like.

since the excellent goal in Europe he’s got a bit of swagger in his play now. I’d start him up front with Ollie against Scumchester United. I think he’ll have a great game against them.

  3. It’s been an epic run. However that result will be hurting Don Unai. He will have learnt a lot about who can handle the pressure of high expectation.

He wants CL football this season and eventually the league title.

    But that hurt him today.

I wonder how much we can reasonably spend in the coming window? Unlike Chelsea:rolleyes:, we will have to keep a weary eye on that FFP thing. Two or three players would give us a squad that could better handle suspensions, injuries and the weight of fixtures that we face in the second half of the season. It seems Lenglet will have another option, if he leaves that would enable us to bring in another loan, I assume and who wouldn't want to join us, when they are shown the league table?

I think we might need to sell to buy. We definitely need CL football or we might have to sell a big hitter or two as we don’t generate enough revenue.

It’s fine to be disappointed, we weren’t good enough tonight and still got a point. The embarrassing bit is people saying our whole season is collapsing before our eyes

Bad days happen to all teams. We go again.

It’s called raw emotion. People are upset. Once they calm down they will realise it was the wrong reaction. I had one too. But it could have been top for the first time in however long.

On another note - is a push in the back allowed? That is a genuine question if anyone can answer it?
