  1. I've always thought you were a nose now I'm sure! I'm not a "nose" I'm just a big fan of steves and I think he could build a dynasty here.
  2. He was actually very well backed at Boro - which think ppl forget and did very very average with them in the league. OK he won a league cup and did well in Europe but he left a mess at Boro and they were **** awful at times. His flop with England in that qualifying group was very poor also. fans would be on his back from the off... Its blatantly a NO ! NO ! NO! He may well return to Prem and do ok but jesus christ i hope its not here
  3. Benitez is a spent force imo. Takes some doing having Liverpool finish outside the top 4 but he pulled it off , Left worse squad than he inherited at Liverpool and absolutely awful football to watch, made right mess at Inter Milan. However he doesn't seem that bad when you look at Kendricks list. If the Rafa from 2005 and before would turn up gthat would be good ..but he seems to have lost the plot last few years. Transfer record at Pool was pretty embarrasing but again when you see the names mentioned by Kendrick he suddenly doesnt seem that bad.
  4. only because the list Kendrick mentions is so shit. Benitez will be another bad fit
  5. I feel your pain Have to admit as much as ive criticised Benitez he suddenly isn't looking THAT bad of an option.. after reading that .
  6. It is alarming that Kendrick finishes his article with "Villa will now turn their attention to a field of candidates believed to include Martin Jol, Roberto Martinez and Steve McClaren." i mean ffs.
  7. David O'Leary is available . Was sacked from some Dubai side couple months back
  8. Fellani i think is Evertons most expensive buy and you could hardly say hes been a flop for them. Its irrelevant tho as no way will Moyes leave Everton - unless drugged and kidnapped - and lets face it our club couldn't poach an egg let alone a manager with two years left on his club contract.
  9. Benitez lost his marbles years ago - hes a spent force imko he went through a ridiculous ammount of players at Liverpool transfer wise , arguably left a worst Liverpool side than he inherited and even alienated the likes of Stevie G in the end . Taking Liverpool out of the top 4 took some doing but he did it. Done a diabolical job at Inter - did no one here see the Spurs games?? Wow he tactically outdid himself there. Even tho Mourinho tough act to follow he did shite there No denying he has some pedigree (you dont win champs league by being bad) but he plays awful football and would for so many reasons be a bad fit for us. Spent force imo and would be bad fit for us
  10. Shame if true No Ancelotti No Hughes... Looking at some of the other options...im getting bit scared!
  11. really hope its not Benitez Terrible football ahoy and shit transfers ahoy
  12. Don't forget Ancelotti had never worked with Wilkins before tho. Don't get me wrong i like Wilkins but hes not essential to Ancelotti etc.
  13. Personally would love Ancelotti or Hughes. Said it before but think Hughes is underated on here. Ancelotti would be first choice but dont get some negativity towards Hughes - i think hes a constant improving manager with lot to prove and hungry and does have sides playiung decent stuff contrary to some myth.
