  1. Persistent time wasting with 20 minutes gone!? Wow.
  2. Leeds will be well up for this and will have this marked as an opportunity to collect 3 points. A draw is probably the most we can hope for under this miserable regime. Can see the away fans turning if we perform as turgidly as expected.
  3. Too knee-jerk I think. People can have their opinions, even 'terrible' ones.
  4. Brexit. It's understandable and correct to ask fans, but, get a top class graphic designer in, give them what they want, and stand by the result. Like the old / new COOP logo for example or the London 2012 Olympic design. Or, after surely too much consultation and attempting to please everyone, the likes of the new Leeds crest abomination comes about.
  5. Some very good and refreshing points. Which still unfortunately ends with what a significant number ruefully think: Dean Smith could also have gotten as many points as minimum, as he already proved. All that turmoil and upheaval for what seems a downgrade, in style of play at least, with zero connection to the club dismantling all the positive work by the previous manager. It's heartbreaking.
  6. Almost certainly. I've a feeling he'll be here for the season, in fact, and we'll probably finish around 13th.
  7. The sacking / appointment felt reckless and misjudged, and in typical Villa style, it's been even worse than we feared.
  8. Absolutely. I didn't even listen to the last few minutes of the last match. I can't remember ever having done that before. The mood, lack of progress and dreadful style of play, big ego manager on massive money with no discernible aptitude for the job... on and on. I'm not even someone who 'expects' progress as though we've some kind of right to be good because of our history, but this lack of connection to what's going on at the club AGAIN after so much was put right by the previous regime, has just made become a bit numb to it all.
  9. Christ that's difficult to read and not because of the names. What's the point here?
  10. The players have as much faith in the 'system' as the fans. That's the problem.
  11. Yep, keep it tight and hope for a moment of magic. That was it.
  12. Definitely. In fact there are parallels with Chelsea's decision to sack Tuchel after what he did there in a relatively short time, with the Dean Smith situation. It might not work with Potter, but that was a smart, calculated risk, where ours was just reckless.
