Spurs fans are known for being amongst the most deluded in football (hence their nickname of Newcastle of the South) For 17 premier league seasons we've heard about how great Spurs are and what they're going to do! In over 70% of them you've finished below Villa so a lot of Spurs fans, generally, aren't taken seriously! I've heard lots of Spurs fans crowing about Spurs getting 4th place - I just hope for their sake they don't end up with egg on their face! Certainly no trophies for 4th place but we've comfortably had more top 1, top 2, top 3, top 4, top 5, top 6, top 7 and top 8 finishes than Spurs it would be great if there was!

They've still won 2 league titles though!

Not good enough for top four just yet. Need better balance in the midfield (a ball winner) and a striker to replace the donkey that is Emile Heskey!

We need a ball winner in the middle and someone who will track attacking midfielders! Petrov just stands there watching!

The worst performance I've seen from a Villa side in my life! A defence that looked all over the place and not comfortable with the ball and a midfield bybassed so easily with no general ball winner in the team. We're predicatable to watch (get the ball wide and put the ball in the box in hope) No way near enough quality for the money we've spent. End of the road for O'Neill for me!

Delf looks our best player!

If ever we need proof that our midfield is too lightweight this is it. Milner and Petrov clearly do not get a hold on the game nearly enough

I expected us to lose this one but I just hope we have a real go second half - we need wins so just pile forward!

Chelsea to win 2-0 or 3-0 - O'Neill to blame tiredness for the loss and the fact we didn't get a wee bit of luck! Can only see a defeat for us in this one!

Not that excited about this one. I think that's more down to us being predictable. We really need a player who can do something a bit different and there are too many favourites (Heskey) who get picked regardless of how they play!

The amount of times our defenders picked up the ball and passed it to nobody was annoying - we have to keep the ball better to progress. Cuellar offers no threat on the right, Downing should be on the left but Young is better there meaning Downing plays on the right and looks average. Heskey is Heskey - utter tosh! I saw more attacking threat from Delf in one half of football than I have in the mule all season! Petrov just doesn't have the engine to last the whole game. We may have not lost more games than any other premiership teams but we draw far too many. We need to take more risks because for the level we want to get to 1 point so often is just not enough!

Oh great Emile "I can do no wrong" Heskey keeps his place - what a joke!

Our top four challenge finished when O'neill decided Heskey should start up front!

As long as Heskey doesn't start then at least it's 11 vs 11!
