    I wasn't surprised to win, as I thought we could get something out of the game, especially at home, but the manner of the victory, to utterly destroy them.like that was something else. Also noticed lots of comments about City being depleted, but the team they fielded still cost many multiples of ours and most other prem teams, and no mention of our injuries (Two of our best players in Mings and Buendia out, and Moreno only just coming back to fitness) and our record signing on the bench (although MON did mention the last bit)

    Their intensity was the only way they could get to us, if they hadn't had that intensity we would have kept the ball and controlled the game from start to finish. The only way they could see to beat us was to throw everything at us to get ahead and then hope to hold on as they tired. No team could keep that intensity up and by 10 mins into the second half you could see their entire team was dead on their feet, allowing us to play our game the way we wanted to. We could and should have been better at the start but I am sure Unai will learn from that.

    So who has said that we will be selling Doug, and who has confirmed it will be without a fight? It's all tabloid bollocks. If we do sell, it will be on our terms if Nas, Wes and Don Unai feel it is in our best interests.

    He's just bitter that he only managed three games for us before giving himself a season ending injury by tripping over his own feet.

    True to an extent, whilst I would of course prefer a draw to a loss, I would prefer 2 wins and a loss to a win and 2 draws....

    They aren't really back yet, and certainly aren't match fit. Ramsey's 10 min cameo does not mean he is back fully. Hopefully they will both be able to get some minutes under their belts over the next couple of games and be fully fit by the time we hit the festive period. The point stands that we have gone 13 games without 4 key players, and at least half of those without another (Carlos) and Mings & Buendia will not really be back before the end of the season, with those replacing them being new and on a very steep learning curve. To be where we are with the injuries and disruption we have had is remarkable and our injury situation is being massively overlooked by the media. Kamara was also out for a few games with injury as well wasn’t he?

    Agreed - under this rule, Ollie would be into 30+ goals most seasons!

    Extenuating circumstances in both games. I don't think either will be doing that to us again this season.
