Can’t believe Smith won’t get a reaction from the players , but head still says comfortable win for West Ham . Heart villa win we desperately need for confidence.

The reality is we’re still a club in major transition . We have just sold our star player who has in the past few seasons been our best creative outlet. Fair to say this season not started well but it’s still early days. I don’t see the owners being over zealous on the trigger yet , but if the current trend continues they will come under pressure . West Ham Southampton then Brighton are tough tests to come .

Really not sure what to think to be honest . We have West Ham Southampton and Brighton next 3 games . 3 very tough games for a team out of confidence and form . Will be interesting what’ happens if the current form continues after these games .

Agree but it’s the way we lost all 3 of those games . The Man U game whilst a good result papered over the cracks . We should give him time but can’t allow blind loyalty to allow this form and performances to continue. Hope it turns around with Smith but also recognises the owners should be planning possible new strategy.

I agree . But what I should say we can’t continue to allow blind loyalty based on Smith being one of our own. It’s never ideal strategy changing a manager during the season and not something these owners would choose. However what really worries and concerns me is how the players react . Part of me already thinks he may lost some of the dressing room .

Im really not sure we were that good TBH . What hurts is as soon as Wolves score total panic set in . Poor subs you could argue but the lack of control still very worrying. It’s very early days with the new squad but you do need to see glimpses of us kicking on , not glimpses of poor performance from the past . We have to learn or move on .

Astonished you rate McGinn so poorly, for me in the right midfield he plays . One of out better players over the last 2 seasons . We are one game in disappointing start but may take a little time to adapt .
