Don't know a great deal about Grabban, but he'd most certainly have the service to score goals with. Wait and see I guess.

If we're not bringing in another striker for the push than I think we have to give McCormack another chance weather some of us like it or not, just hope he's not a negative influence. Have a stupid question, but how/when would FFP limitations be lifted? Would we still have to worry about it if we got promoted? Still a little unclear on that.

What about Jermaine Defoe? It felt like tradition that some random journalist would like us with a move for him every bloody transfer window Hopefully the club have got Hogan wrapped up in bubble wrap because I can't see us doing much business at this point and if Hogan gets injured we're in trouble.

Not sure how I feel about Ross. Part of me would love to see him return and perform well for us but at the same time I'm concerned he'll be a negative influence on what seems a strong locker room right now. Wait and see I guess. That all said, I still expect him to leave via a loan with option to buy deal.

Haven't laughed out loud like that for a good while, thanks Aston Villa social media team. New badge looks awful, as some others have pointed out it's basically an MLS team badge at this point. I actually liked the traditional badge they had, iconic.

I'd be surprised if it wasn't the young United lad signing. Don't know a great deal about him but heard good things. Think we do need another striker however, putting all our hopes on Hogan is risky despite his recent form. That said I'm unconvinced by Ulloa, so I don't really know what options are available. Just imagine where we'd be if Kodja was fit.

Harry Redknapp is everything I hate about modern football, shame we'll have to see is ugly mug on TV more often... no one deserves that. Shame he couldn't stay longer and do even more damage. -

Any possible European options available? I think Tony should be willing to invest in an exciting appointment instead of relying on the open market. Someone who might be tempted by what is a solid squad given the right management.

Good news indeed, we've had some bad managers over the years but I've never seen one look so lost as RDM.

Finally some positive news. Now we can concentrate on getting someone who knows what he's doing and turn the team around.

The big question for me now is who do we hope to get to replace him? I know Steve Bruce as been rumoured. Anyone as got to be better than RDM at this point.
