  1. Yes, amazing to score twice in injury time! That feat reminds me of Man United's champions league final or Man City's premier league winning last game of the season. I just noticed we've had six different scorers in the last three games: McGinn, Adomah, Abraham, Kodjia, Grealish and Hourihane. It's good that so many players have been chipping in. That's generally what happens in my Villa daydreams too (so that all the players get a bit of glory and are happy)!
  2. Here's a nice stat that I think is correct: since we've been in the Championship we haven't been doubled by anyone, yeeaaahhhh ! Pretty impressive, I mean what were the chances of that happening?! Well, I hope I've got that correct anyway, I've been trying to monitor it. Is that right, statisticians? However, we have to avoid defeat in all of our last three games to keep it going, yikes! :s But a stat I like even more is that since we've been in the Championship no-one has beaten us by more than three goals! Improvement. (Well done Mr El Ghazi up at Bramall Lane for preserving that one. Phew!). And since being in the Championship I think we've conceded more than four goals in only one match: the crazy five at home to the wobbly trees.
  3. Will Mings be suspended for just one match? I always forget how many a player misses for two yellows.
  4. I'll always be grateful to Steve Bruce for that wonderful run of seven league wins in a row last season ! : ) That was a happy and exciting time to be a Villa fan, finally !
  5. https://www.avfc.co.uk/News/2018/02/13/stat-villas-last-eight-game-winning-run We haven't won eight league games in a row "since the 1974/75 campaign". * (Quote from the article above).
  6. Exactly, that is how I feel, so proud of them! To come back from losing to win with one player less than the other team! FFS we never do that! It's the stuff that dreams are made of. I've followed hundreds of Villa games in the last 15 years on the BBC live text and I can't think of a single other time that we've achieved that feat. Sometimes when some other team has managed it, it's made me feel jealous. Well tonight it's Aston Villa! If it had been against a bottom half League 2 team in the League Cup, well that wouldn't have been so incredible, but it wasn't, it was opposition in our own league. That was amazing.
  7. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!!!!!
  8. Wednesday winning, that's good, keeping Forest off our heels.
  9. Bristol City 3-0 up after just 19 minutes! Andi Weimann's on fire recently, hope he doesn't come back to haunt us this week or next month!
  10. This run of six wins in a row is astonishing when we consider that we only won one from the previous ten games !
  11. Hahaha! Classic! And fair enough, personally my view is that there's probably nothing wrong with dancing to pop music in public with a grey lampshade on your head. It's a free country.
  12. Woooow that is simply the best most amazing break dancing ever !!! Natural raw talent. What. A. Move. This guy deserves to be spotted by the National Dance Theatre talent scouts. And to the right, Adrian Chiles is dancing pretty well there, to be fair, the dark horse. As for the young man at the back... whoa ! That is just an unbelievable modern day sea shanty electric move!
  13. Hey, great jazz flute, man! "Nice. Smooth."
  14. I just read that against Kazakhstan, Scotland's "midfield lacked creativity", and that McGinn put a header wide and miscued a shot. Sounds like he might have had a bit of a shocker. Well that was lucky for us that it was for Scotland and not for us ! I guess he was under a lot of pressure, playing in the opening qualifier for his country after their miserably long absence from the major tournaments, in a group that includes Belgium and Russia (who were very good in a few games in the world cup). Not beating Kazakhstan is a blow to their hopes, isn't it, now they'll have to get a win against the much improved Russians somehow. I feel a bit sorry for the Scotland team and quite a lot of their fans really, I felt bad enough when England missed out on just one tournament (Euro 2008). To miss out on several in a row must be tough. : s
  15. Yes, those last two games could be a bit tricky. :s On the other hand, our next opponent's one of the most ideal we could possibly have, because Blackburn are more or less safe now but are too far away from the play off places. Out of all the 24 teams maybe they have the least to play for at the moment.
  16. Hahaha And we'll dust ourselves down.
  17. I'm surprised that Middlesbrough have now gone as many as six games in a row against us without scoring, wow. That is shocking ! :s
