    Thinking about Trez now he is off.... 4.5m isn't a terrible fee considering he only had a year left on his deal and a bad injury to get over last season. I am amazed that the teams that are expected to be in the bottom 5 next season didn't have some serious interest in him considering that he scores goals and works so hard. All the best.

    Yep, would have been a good signing for us. People say he wants to play first team and not back up to Digne/Cash..... in response I always think the player must not back themselves that much to unseat the existing first choice

    Of course they will, I don’t even see the point in a counter argument. I’d go as far as saying we have two top ten class strikers for the league. I don’t see the point upgrading them until the whole of the the defence and midfield is sorted. that way you know the personnel and system you are playing to buy the striker to be the finishing touch.
