  1. I’ve seen them play and seen their stats

    The NSWE Board

We got very lucky, in terms of investment they are the perfect owners. hopefully they get more return on that investment in the coming few years in terms of on pitch performance
  3. I’m not going to comment on the design until we see something more detailed. What I do want to say is if both phases go through when we get to the end of the decade we will be in a better position to compete but I feel more crucially for the very long term future of the club we will have improved our perception amongst football fans and crucially new owners in the future. There aren’t that many teams in the world with a stadium that large that is also modern. The Doug Ellis and North stand are garbage as well so it can only be an improvement
  4. Botman would be a better signing than any of our centre backs.
  5. Any new news? I haven't been up to date for a few days.
  6. I know the system is changing.... I can't remember what to though. We probably had more than 5 senior players on loan last season.
  7. Ok and will they have the ability to randomly drop 100m plus on Rice or Bellingham in a random November..... Nope Even if they could do that one year, could they follow it up the next year? 100% no.
  8. I don't agree with any of those points. 1. There is no issue with that. 2. Why on earth do we need a formula for a transfer fee to be set? The club values this player at X buy him or don't works completely fine. Mandatory buy out fees I think it fine. 3. Terrible idea, lots of players haven't developed how you want them by 21. It serves no useful purpose for the club, and would damage the career chances of many professionals. 4. I can see why some people would want this but again I see no problem with Chelsea's system. On the contrary I think it is a great revenue stream for a club that successfully invests in people to become pro footballers. 5. No need for this either, you can only register so many players so realistically they aren't going to be at your club if they aren't registered or don't need to be due to current age.
  9. Clubs would buy players throughout the year until the end of February or March (I forget) when the window closed until the season was over. I don't ever remember someone buying a player to ruin someone else's chances though. What I will say is even if that was a perceived risk back then, think about it now.... You have FFP, players wages costing hundreds of thousands and 100 million price tags. That would surely lower the risk.
  10. Not really it used to be like that before and it wasn't really an issue.
  11. We had the squad for top 10 this year, stop smoking drugs.
  12. I don't know about 7 days but there isn't a reason for it to be open for more than a month and have it close before pre season.
  13. Jack Harrison is good, Bamford is decent too.
  14. I think the players we want rid of would be good for promoted teams and relegation battling teams. If I saw Trez going for a few million I would be right on that as a newly promoted team.
  15. Nah, just listen to me..... everyone else is wrong
  16. Correct which is why you sell the players 'early' when you can. Classic example of this would have been AEG last summer but that doesn't apply to Trez because of injury for example. You basically need to sell players whilst they are still useful to you with forward planning.
  17. Yep. This is the main reason I am so stringent with my views on how we spend their cash on players. It isn't our money, it's there's and if we want them to carry on being benefactors to us as that it what is going on the club needs to raise itself up performance wise. Also its easier to be much more self sufficient when your players are valued so much higher than 3 years ago.
  18. I want him and his mother no where near our club.
  19. We need two. I don't think we will get two but it is what we need.
  20. That is why I didn't add them. Boateng would be awesome in our team today.
