I see Baros and Angel working together quite well and I reckon D'OL will try this partnership against Blackburn provided KP doesnt score a hat trick tomorrow. Personally I think Angel will come good again given the clear competition for places upfront might be kick up the arse he needs we will see.

But in pre season didn't O'Leary say that Angel was his number one striker so surely he won't drop him for Baros. But goals talk and if JPA starts scoring again it will give D'OL i nice headache of who to play upfront. Agree with Risso three upfront wouldnt work.

I was gonna vote for Martin Laursen who I have been very impressed with but I dont think he has played enough games to judge him just yet because of his injury.

Hopefully he has played his last game for Villa, he has been nothing short of a disgrace in claret and blue. I reckon some other club like possibly us last summer will think they can get him playing well but he wont of course. I dont think he is required at Chelsea at all, they have enough strikers plus Forsell as returned to them from the scum. Im pretty confident Mourinho wont give a player of all of 2 goals all season a chance in his side.

D'OL says Laursen isnt ready for 90 mins in the Premiership yet. Just hope the mauling Ridgewell and co. got last week doesnt affect their performances tomorrow. It is a game we can win, JPA is scoring again. Luke Moore has taken on the Vassell role well, being the pacey attacker to create space for JPA. If like Vassell he doesnt score many goals but help JPA score a few more before the end of the season I think most will be satisfied. If we play well I reckon either 1-1 or 2-1 Villa. If we have another first half like last week 2-0 pompey, theyre pretty strong at home but like us terrible away. Apparently we have only taken 1 of a possible 18 points on the road since we won at Bolton in November.

Being a big Star Wars fan to begin witht the trailer has just wet the appetite even more. It could be the best of 6 films, it looks very dark. Reckon Barry is probably the best at penalties. Hopefully Angel will have been given a bollocking and will be fired up for the Arsenal game.
