I had a weird dream about this game. We take the lead late on. But they get a penalty in injury time, surprise surprise. But Fernandes skies it into the Stretford End, and Martinez does this crazy dance! And then someone throws a bottle of mayo into the Holte End, but stacks it as they throw it. Bizarre dream.
Interesting ground you've dreamt of there

Saka then had the bollocks to say "it was just a 50-50 shoulder to shoulder" and that he didn't see the fall/injury as he "was focused on running forward because he didn't think it was a foul"
What gall. While the injury was unfortunately, I see a clear barge through the back. I can only imagine the rolling around and crying Saka would have done if the roles were reversed (even without the injury). Hypocrite.

No yellow for Saka despite injuring a player

For anyone who hasn’t seen this disgrace of a decision. Ref needs to be sacked

Bloody hell, he is vital. Lenglet was fine really but didn't fill me with even the slightest bit of confidence and composure like Torres does.
Neither did Pau in his first few league games, to be fair.

A draw agaisnt Sheffield United is as good as a loss.
Need to pick that ball up and run back as fast as possible.
15 more seconds could have been the difference in 3 points or 1 point
If we're relying on scoring a goal at 99:45, you don't deserve 3 points. What about the other 99 minutes, rather than 15 seconds?

Would much rather have had Ash Young for another year at RB.

Handballiest handball ever. Utterly impossible that someone has decided that handball was not handball.
It was intentional. They were probably confused and overwhelmed because they are usually freeze-framing looking for any incidental ball-to-hand.

I'm just surprised they didn't rule out Zaniolo's goal for a "foul" by Konsa on Hamer in the build-up.

To be fair, Refs should be getting boll**ings for VAR changing or reviewing missed decisions. Without VAR, they must have been missing hundreds. It should be making referees better, not more dependent in VAR.
Nail on head. Instead, it's a reliance and "we'll wait for VAR to confirm" rather than using the system for egregious errors, which it is supposed to be for.

Unfortunately missed the game last night. Anyone have clips of the incidents?

Apparently Haaland was the most captained this week. Shows how many dead teams there are out there.

Couple of cracking games so far to start the evening session. Championship looks to finally be in full flow after getting past all the 1st round matches.

It's weird. Only a quarter of people who owned him have sold him. That's still over 2m people, but he's still owned by 6.5m. We don't know how many of those are active or zombie teams. I'd say many teams who are both engaged and experienced in the game are getting rid with a plan to bring him back. It makes no sense to hold on to 14m quid for a minimum of 2 weeks and what now looks like maybe being more than that.
I still have him, mainly because it wasn't 100% he would be out last GW. I would need to take a -4 to get him out, but I should be OK without doing so this GW and even next if he doesn't play and I need to use my free elsewere.

Was going to roll my FT, and probably should have, but figured Gabriel out and Trippier in. I wanted him in sooner or later and playing Luton seems decent what with Gabbers at 'plop.
With his disastrous December, barcode's away form and fatigue, and Luton at home with what will be a raucous crowd after the Lockyer incident, I just can't go with Trippier, which means a 20 pointer incoming.

konsa is about the only nailed on villa defender really...still wouldn't touch him though as we cannot seem to keep clean sheets (against the crap teams anyway)
Would basically be a one week punt though, as I (hopefully) don't need him the following GW then I have my WC to use

With konsa I feel like Emery will either play him Cb or rb, particularly as cash has struggled lately, I feel his versatility gives him more of a chance to feature. I think Carlos and konsa both play tommorow, even if not as a back 3 they will both feature in some capacity though.
without pau I think unai goes
Digne konsa carlos Cash
Seems logical, but Konsa/Lenglet and especially Carlos/Lenglet have been on the pitch as the CB pairing much longer than Konsa/Carlos, which has been 30 mins total?

Pau Torres, however I decided to go 5-4-1 and play both pau and konsa alongside trippier romero and zinchenko. Semenyo has been getting subbed in games quite early recently. Plus I have Gordon who is flagged so there is still a chance he comes on to replace someone, maybe zinchenko won’t start against Liverpool either. But as someone above said, I think there is a good chance pau might start and if he does it’s too good an opportunity to turn down clean sheet points
If Pau is out, then I actually don't even know if any of our back 4 would be nailed on starters for tomorrow. I really want to go for Carlos as he might be more of a goal threat than Konsa, who might be due a rest, but at the same time we have a chance to go top of the league...

My original plan was to bring in Trippier, but not sure after his horrorshow this month

Ended up on 69 points after zinchenko was subbed in for mykolenko and then the semenyo point was voided. I already bought pau Torres in but now Douglas Luiz confirmed on twitch that he won’t be fit for Friday. I’m thinking I’m gonna take a -4, mykolenko out for konsa. He’s basically nailed for us and will Give me the option to double up in some of the good fixtures we have coming up, mykolenko is also injured and I got a lot of value out of him but Everton now have tough games coming up
Pau or Dougie won't be fit?

Game voided

Think I'll take the risk and keep Haaland, allowing me another GW or two before using the WC. With Dougie out it means Archer comes in, which isn't a bad shout with Chelsea being shambles. One free transfer to use for a Defender. Just have to decide which one out, and probably a BOU one in

Rocket polisher Palmer gets next GW off for kicking the ball away. Now have 5 flagged and surely need to use my WC one GW early.
