A Forest v Burnley final day decider would be cracking. Unfortunately, I can see Forest getting at least a point from SHU and Burnley none from their other two games, leaving Forest 3 points and around a dozen ahead in goal difference.

A major problem with VAR is the inherent bias. An argument I've seen going around is that the ref was in prime position to see the foul, "if there was one", so there was no need for VAR to intervene. But, Villa shades off, it's a clear foul, and I don't see how anyone can argue against that?? Carlos is directly under the ball, gets an illegal barge in the back, moving him a meter or two forward and no longer under the path of the ball. It's a foul all day long, and the argument should not be why did VAR intervene when Pawson was staring straight at it, but how did Pawson not give it in the first place? Did he just swallow his whistle in the moment? Think that he'll just let the phase continue and then let VAR come in if it's a foul?

BBC headline is that Chelsea comeback to "dent" Villa's Top 4 hopes. Are we not 7 points clear of 5th? Would rather have the points than the games in hand...

Apparently doesn’t know you can head the ball back to your keeper and he can pick it up. Piss poor.
Olsen was out of his box

Yep I think what they should do is use try and win their next home game at a canter, get them properly in the right mind set to send Klopp off with a win in their final, but also rest a load of players for the game in between those two home fixtures. Wouldn’t want any injuries for that final game.
I definitely haven’t checked who they have next and whether the above suggestion would help us or not. Honest.
Home v Spurs next and home v Wolves in the finale
Also, don't forget the word removed Klopp likes to try and get "revenge" for us being him 7-2, including gloating at beating our kids in the Cup

Former England international Stephen Warnock says he considered suicide after taking poor financial advice.
...
"I didn't sleep properly for six years off the back of that [financial advice]. I was going back into training every morning on maybe three hours' sleep."
The breakdown of Warnock's marriage coincided with his retirement, while there was a period in which he did not see his children.
Warnock, who had stints at Liverpool, Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League, said his financial difficulties led to him postponing retirement, as he needed to continue earning money.
Warnock added that in the final years of his career he became "frustrated" with football and "lost the buzz" as he dropped down the leagues.
"Now I look back at it and think 'wow, I was massively depressed for years'. I retired at 35. I probably retired mentally at 31," he said.

I think a person's gameplan and decision making process changes quite markedly depending on where they rank. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that you went into 'protect my rank' mode at 6k and avoided the riskier purchases that others took. I was still trying to gain, so I had less pressure on me. And at the other end you have people trying to break into top million who are going off the reservation with their purchases. Obviously it could also all entirely be luck but I don't believe so. I think we do put the blinkers on relative to rank.
EDIT : Actually, from looking at yours closer, I think it boils down to choosing to use the FH in 29. Had you used it this week instead, let's assume you'd have broken the ton. We'll give you a hypothetical 110. That puts you pretty much bang on with me around the 30k. So don't be too hard on yourself. That one decision properly **** you over.
FH aside, it's been terrible (I would have said the same even if I was at 30k ). I would say it was actually a bit of the opposite from what you suggested as I also went aggressive to try and push even further up the table, but maybe also some unlucky decisions (going KDB instead of Foden, Salah being trash, etc.). Still a WC and BB to go, hopefully I can stop the rot

Fifa has announced a partnership with Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company, Aramco.
The deal is in place until 2027, giving Aramco sponsorship rights for the men's World Cup in 2026 and the Women's World Cup the following year.

Why don’t we just not consider having any premier league games played outside of the UK ever, surely that just makes more sense.

Didn't realize his son has been playing in the Carolinas since 2017. Probably influenced his decision to go to Charlotte!

Made it to 8 doublers in my First XI without taking a hit. Also looked at getting 10 doublers including bench boost, also without taking a hit, but decided I'll save that until DGW37, based on who I have planned coming into my team with the WC.
