  1. Being sacked? Not much he can do about it tbh.
  2. At least 4 ot Lyon's goals included absolutely disgraceful defending.
  3. There was a nice little photo of a croatian defender winking at Gomis after one of his goals.
  4. It's been mentioned before, but doesn't this pretty much confirm the stories that Randy sacked Martin? If he didn't break his contract, then he must have been sacked. Well it was pretty obvious, it's just that most people prefered to lay the blame on the man who chose not to give his side of the story. ( which is fair enough tbh )
  5. He heard McLeish was interested in Kaboul so Faulkner organised a scouting trip. You will now be quoted as a 'source close to the player' when some rag inevitably links us to Kaboul in Jan
  6. He must be SnC in disguise.Must be!
  7. Playing two right backs in order to ( supposedly ) contain Bale and then getting ripped apart from that zone because one of the two right backs wouldn't even bother to help the other one is the worst move I've seen from a manager in a while.
  8. Yes. Those who advised depend on those who asked for advice. The man who got the decision is the man you have to look at. You don't know what McLeish has promised/agreed to deliver.
  9. Quit it more than 4 years ago without the help of any patches, gums, food or whatever. Used to smoke a pack a day, then went straight to 0 cigarettes, no periods of reduced numbers and so on. Worked for me. I still feel like I'd fancy a smoke every day, but it passes very easily and besides even if I do, it'd taste awful. Still though, if I were able to smoke a pack a week and not per day I would have never even tried quitting it, it has its good sides when you do it only from time to time.
  10. All sins will be forgiven so long as you repent, pray and have faith in Jesus Christ. You also have to try and fight off temptation to sin.. In answer to the question regarding the murderer, yes he will be forgiven and saved. My personal belief, (thought), is that everyone will get saved in the end. So, a murderer who repents in the final hours of his life is a better person than a guy who's only sin is sleeping with his gf before marriage, but would not repent? The first one goes to heaven and the second one - to hell. Nice god you have. Fair and square shit right there. Tbh, even we assume you're right and this god exists, then he's a proper **** up bastard and the last thing he deserves is being adored and worshipped.
  11. OK so, it goes something like this : 1. You're born 2. 'Original sin' TM is installed in you 3. You live and you sin, because all people sin 4. You die and get judged 5. Sometimes your sins are fogiven and you enter heaven, else you go to hell Q : Which sins get forgiven and which do not? For example, someone kills a person ( or steals something or whatever ), does 20 years in jail, converts to hardcore christian and prays for forgiveness every day and lives according to all bible moral codes. Is he forgiven? And if yes, then how is he better than a person who's only bad deed is having sex before marriage or working on a saturday? Or does this sin get forgiven also?
  12. That was the whole point of my original post! Why do we not find ANY other animal that suffers or has more difficulty during childbirth? TBH, you can't know the death rate or pain rate when giving birth of ALL species to claim that human's is the worst. But why single out giving birth? Most animals have a better eyesight and can survive much longer without food/water, they can survive eating food that man could not, or drink dirty water directly from a pond, which humans can't. So what? We're quite weak compared to most animals when it comes to abilites and instincts, our main advantage is the brain, this is why we survive as a species.
  13. Things are done and dusted only in religion. Not in science. Things change, even genious discoveries are build upon or disproven many years later. Just a couple of months ago CERN announced they might have discovered a particle that moves at a speed greater than the speed of light. If they can prove this it would ruin a lot of Einstein's theories, or at the least build upon them. There's nothing set in stone in science - it evolves. As for pain during child birth. Evolution and pain have nothing in common whatsoever. Evolution does not care about pain, it doesn't give a shit about it as long as the species survive. For what it's worth a lot of the animals are much better off than humans when it comes to birth, both as an easier way to do it and as their offspring being more or less self-sufficient in hours, days or weeks, unlike human babies, who need to be taken full care of for years. It only proves that human is not the be all and end all of evolution. No problem with that. There are countless of examples that show that different types fo animals have evolved certain aspects much better than human - eyesight, being able to survive for months without eating, etc. No one says that man should be the best evolved in all possible aspects compared to animals, neither does it mean that there is a certain time period over which a man should or should not evolve in a certian manner, i.e. it might take 10 million years for man to stop feeling pain when giving birth, or a few thousand years or it might never happen. Means nothing from an evolutionary point of view - if the pain is too bad and prevents people from mating and giving birth, then the species will disappear from the face of the earth. Evolution doesn't give a **** about it.
  14. Well duh... because a few thousand years ago a talking snake lied to Adam so he ate from the fruit of knowledge, which enforced the original sin everyone is born with. Seriously, can you think of a worse thing a man could do than eating an apple? Cardinal sin, I tells you!
  15. Basically the almighty awful **** sin entered the earth because a snake forced Adam to eat the fruit of knowledge(!) and this is why all people are born with an original sin and condemned to spend an eternity in hell. Such a naughty thing to do, feckin apples! What's not to believe here?
  16. Tbh most people who consider themselves christians haven't read the bible at all, they just have their hypocritical ways around it and remember they're christians only on easter, christmas, etc. I can understand these people. However, anyone who has actually read the bible, cover to cover, and still worships this **** up diety the book describes, is totally mental IMO.
  17. I wish we had MON MK2, but I don't think we'd be that fortunate.
  18. Let's hope so If he picks his business partners the way he chooses his managers, then god help us
  19. Don't be so harsh on Randy and Faulkner, they're trying.
