Or Amavi, or anyone else. Why do posters on here claim to be supporters of the club ? We were totally shit last season, unfortunately even with money it takes time to put it right if you can't see that or accept it go and support a team that wins every week, if you can find one.

This afternoon I suggested Amavi as the next scapegoat, totally forgot about Bruce. Got to love the Villa supporters on here, except they are not supporters just glory hunters, get behind the team, manager, club or piss off and follow Celtic they win every week !!!

So people don't hate Westwood on here. Absolute b*llocks. I hope he goes to Burnley and shows what a good player he could have been had his confidence not been wrecked by the football experts on here.

You don't attract players to a losing club. (Let's see how Sunderland do this month.) you take a strong team up and then attract the better players in the next few seasons. The key is building success not instant success I think patience is the key and unfortunately that seems in short supply on here.

Why is promotion this year the sole aim for some on here ? We are not good enough to go up automatically and a play off place is the back door. Today showed the difference in quality between the two squads, if we were to sneak in we would not be able to cope next season. Money will not guarantee survival. Another season might just allow us to build a squad that would be better able to cope. When we get promoted we need to be able to compete in the next division not just fulfill our fixtures.

Perhaps some of our players are 'sh*tting their pants at making a crucial mistake' because of the mindless criticism they get week after week on here regardless of how they perform. Perhaps the Leeds fans support their team more, make them feel better and therefore they play better.

Have been a supporter for 51 years and was a season ticket holder and shareholder for many years before moving south. Am a. regular at Palace Villa games
