I think there was talk of Bednarek and Augstinsson loans being terminated.
Don't really want to get into this here as wrong thread but Bednarek could be our most pointless signing of all time, was just Gerrards complete disrespect of Mings that made this happen at all.
No nothing of dembele since he left Celtic, he was brilliant there but so was edoaurd who has really struggled at palace

Always have that thought that Ings is due another long term injury, seems to have stayed clear of one while with us.
Might be worth taking any offer serious

Wonder if some of the add-ons are actually not achievable, stuff like ballon d'Or winner, reason I say that is because making the transfer fee higher helps with visa doesn't it?

2years older than Rory Wilson, are they both the same type of forwards ?

Up against Bournemouth and Everton?
Ha. If we want him, we get him.
Only interested if we can agree a fee before the loan. We've danced this dance before.
Ya Everton especially looking like real basket case, I'd be very surprised if they do any business

100% convinced that Emi Martinez doesn't have a world cup winners medal if this man was in the french midfield, freakishly good

Gonna be a fun one to watch, expecting a lot of heart in mouth moments

Only way I can see this happening is if sansom is going the other way plus some money to them, would probably suit all 4, the players and the clubs.
Seen a lot of people mention this in regards of sending Sanson the other way, what do people think Sanson is worth?
Still contracted till 2025, 10million?

3.5 yr contract, interesting, not often you see short-ish contracts.
Would assume that we have an option on an extra year

Just watched the first ep of The Rig. Some sort of mystery/thriller/drama thing on an oil/gas rig that has a very cheap 90's horror movie feel about it. It looks awful, comically bad CGI and the characters are all stereotypes. I'm fairly sure it's going to be terrible but the thing is I like these kinda things
A group of people isolated meets unknown danger and something something happens. Obviously this is not going to be The Thing but on a oil rig but maybe it isn't a complete dumpster fire. After all both Ser Jorah Mormont and Alliser Thorne are in it.
Finished the whole series, seen a lot of these actors in stuff like line of duty, so it's a great cast , that's where all positives end, this was up there with one of the worst shows I've sat through, storyline is awful, makes you think who the hell hires these terrible writers to start with

I don't think that looks anything like Maguire
I was looking at it for a while, looks like him, the guy on camera side of table with hat on

Loan?
For me a loan with an option to buy agreed in advance, (we messed that up with Mings and ended up paying higher rate) is a decent deal. Wages are the stumbling block, he would have to understand that a club like us will probably payout his current deal but after that he is gonna be dropping his wages considerably

So with speculation this week, rumours of 3 players wanted to be added ,
Alex Moreno left back to challenge Digne and looks like that one probably happens.
Alberto Molerio or Lee Kang-in, Ive never heard of either, both seem similar type of players so you would assume it's one or the other?
So let's say we get them 2 over the line , where would people expect the 3rd position that we would be looking to add to?

Float like a Kang-in ball
-
Kamara , Luiz, Mcginn and Ramsey all ahead of him, Donk probably just better than him, and probably on par with Sanson,
Would make zero sense

Said something along the lines of I wouldn't take a big fee for Emi M on the transfer thread, that I don't trust these guys to reinvest,
Ofc I'm extremely thankful to everything so far, but these people see us a toy that they get board with at some point,
I watched randy do this and will never have 100% faith in overseas owners ever again .
I hope wes and especially Nas stay for a very long time and we remember them as hero's, but I guess I'd say pessimistic when it comes to these things, that a child like myself growing up in Birmingham as child from an Irish family, that saw a guy called Paul become god , can really love the club as much guy who probably never heard of villa park till they were offered a chance to buy it

I dont want neither Deulofeu or Sarr
NEXT!
I'd still take Sarr, still think he could be serious talent, I'm hoping it was just Steven Gerrard that was obstacle

This is not a good sign actually, if Atletico get €50m for Cunha, and are still intending to sell Joao Felix for €80m, then they would have plenty of cash available to bid for Martinez if Oblak leaves.
Not sure why people want to sell one of our best players to put money in a couple of billionaires pockets, that might decide to reinvest the money or might not

Think the frustration with him is that he clearly has gone backwards and what's more concerning is that he seems like a good guy that works hard on his game but still is not pushing on.
I've always backed him on here because of his workrate but as players around him are starting to get better he looks more out of place. Was two or three moments in game yesterday where you could see the body language in Buendia and Bailey as if to say what is he doing in this team.
Hopefully he scores a bag load against Liverpool and makes all this seem like waffle.
-
This is only positive, we now know chambers is not to be trusted at all moving forward
-
How the hell did we get Kamara? Everytime I see him he looks better, don't think I'm exaggerating this but he walks into every team in league

Great to see him having a real look at some of these young lads before window opens, gives him chance to decide who needs minutes elsewhere or who should be kept around first team squad

Dembele and a winger (Sarr) would be great window, ofc guendouzi would be great but think that's something we could look at in summer once nakamba and Sanson are gone
