  1. His best game of season against Everton he didn't want to be on pitch at all, think that says it all, fair enough he is picking up knocks but most players play through some type of injury,

he believed he was gonna be main man when he arrived here and then realised this is a bit tougher then German football and downed tools

No way a Jack replacement. Klopp called him “young Vardy” after that goal in the cup. So his best starting is as a wide forward in a 4:3:3 system similar to Liverpool.

Klopp watched him in 1 game, think most of us that have watched him a lot may have a better opinion, I've watched him I'd say a bit, not a lot, every time I've seen him play except the Liverpool game where we tried to catch there high line with his pace, he has played from left, pretty much what you said, vardy is a lot more direct

  3. In a Gerrard system ( In no way am I saying he is ready) where dose he play? so what we have seen so far from Gerrard is two 10s behind a 9  and second system has been two 9s with a 10 behind them, for me Barry was the perfect long term jack replacement from the left but our current system dose not get the best out of that type of player

  4. Very similar to Targett, has gone from one of our most consistent performers to pathetic, needs to decide if he wants to play at this level, he has all the attributes but just doesn't look interested anymore

I loved Cahill as well to be honest. Was proper gutted when we let him go.

Him and Albrighton are ones who got away IMO.

I reckon THAT goal has obviously skewed some of our opinions though.

Ya both were terrible losses but don't remember myself at the time thinking these two are future stars in the making, you get that feeling with Carney which is why it makes it so frustrating

We signed him up to a three year deal. He signed a contact with us in 2020 - it's just a negotiation. It might well be that his representatives are demanding or awkward or both, but there's nothing to suggest that the player isn't committed - he trains, he travels and plays with the first team, he plays for the under 23's, he attends first team and youth team games when not selected, he's no different to most of our young players.

There's a while to go on this negotiation - the aim is for him to get a deal with us that works for us and for him - there's nothing wrong in the process, there's just this pressure in the press that for some reason makes this one more visible than most.

Like I said it's my opinion, your entitled to yours and I respect it, I'm from the opinion that you earn what your given

We're involved in a contract negotiation.

Where would you say his lack of commitment has shown itself?

All the contracts of our younger talents were secured earlier in the season, they all committed to the club, in that time we have heard from 2 different managers that the club has held talks with the lad and still hasn't commited to his long term future at the club, hence lack of commitment,

Do you then believe he doesn't want to be here?

His lack of commitment would suggest that, it's feels like the pogba United situation to me, I think we should reward people like Jacob Ramsey with good contracts , not people that have not earned it

    Why?

If he doesn't want to be here let his contact run out somewhere that he gets no attention, Im fairly certain we get a fee for him even if he runs his contact out, we need to develop the players that want to be here and buy into the project the club has in place,

Although like lexicon has said we can't force him to a loan unfortunately

  10. Injuries was definitely his biggest issue but was definitely something wrong between him and Smith, looks a lot more involved under Gerrard, he has become the man Gerrard trusts to shut out a game

I'd take Rashford. But something tells me United will only allow him to leave for an obscene price.

Could see them going for a deal like city did with us for Dougie, that option to bring him back for set fee but wages would possibly be a stumbling block

Elephant in the room, but, is he actually quick?

Im not even talking ‘really quick’, just ‘quick’.

He looks bang average pace wise to me (not taking away from his other qualities).

His feet move real fast but goes nowhere, he reminds me of a fat guy cycling up a hill in 1st gear

  13. Have great respect for both fighters, believe prime khan v Mayweather would have been great fight.

Brook has been one of my favourite fighters in last few years, too brave at times and took on some dangerous men, love for him to win this and walk away, always scares me that he will end his career with permanent damage to that eye.

Of course we would all love to have seen this a few years ago but it's still a fight that gets me excited

  14. He is a 6 in a Pep Guardiola team but until we control the ball to that degree he is an 8, so for me he is s the guy if he goes to a dominant team, he is s gonna look the business at 6, if he goes to arsenal, he will end up an 8, we have at least 2 better 8s in our club and then your in the conversation is he a better 8 than Sanson, I'm not sure he is, chuck is ahead of him already as an 8

  15. Running with ball at feet and so direct  I'm trying to think of a central midfielder past or present as good as him, heard on radio this week comparisons to his ball control to giggs

  16. Since the interview a few weeks ago he did on YouTube emphasising on how he was a huge arsenal fan, I'm convinced he doesn't want to be here.

Loved him up to this season. It was his work rate that had me from minute one. At times in past season his finishing wasn't perfect but that would come in time. He still looks very raw to me and hasn't looked overly happy.

  17. A chance to play for your country in a major tournament ( even if parts of it in this tournament seemed farcical, this is the tournament this guy watched as a kid and dreamed of competing in ) you would play on one foot if you had to,

Of course im disappointed he is out and think the Gerrard system suits him a lot more

Swindon fans saying that he still looks lightweight but it is good to see him playing and making an impact. Hopefully he gets plenty more gametime between now and the end of the season before spending the summer in the gym with the Ramseys.

Needs to work a bit in the gym, it's a tough one though, he doesn't want to go mad like the season Gabby decided to bulk up and lost half his pace

  19. Horrible timing to release a brand and I'm probably one  of his biggest critics about his time here so far but last thing we need is for people to get too much on his back over this, seems to be a confidence player
