Whatever the stats say, there have been games this season that we would not have scored even if the opposition had no keeper. Arsenal and Everton to start with, unless my memory is wrong on this.

There is only one winner here, apart from our opponents, and that is those who are prepared to bet on us to lose in all remaining games. I will start with a tenner against Spurs, with a side bet of £2 to lose 4-0, and maintain it until my lack of faith starts to cost me. I am still paying to go to each game so my 'support' is there but not my belief.

Lambert is head and shoulders the worst manager for many years. He fails to meet any criteria, football wise or personality wise. He will be coming in for some serious stick very soon. Then it will be the turn of Lerner.

Can't work out if these are sarcasm, trolling or one too many toots on the Crack Pipe? Glad most people seem to have seen his quality, I was worried about him becoming scapegoat for last night. Don't get me wrong the couple of minutes leading up to the goal were awful, but for the other 80 odd minutes, he really was excellent. Nice to see he is prepared to take a risk and tries to play it forward too. Will be an excellent addition IMO. No trolling or sarcasm from me. Easily his best game, yes. I hope to see his passing improve and hope that he gets selected for the next half a dozen games to see how he goes. The distribution side of his game has never been his best, long before he joined us. He is starting to look more comfortable but Lambert will knock that out of him.

I think his ball control and passing is dreadful. Better game last night but not nearly good enough yet.

Looked like Benteke was hobbling a bit towards the end. I think he expected to be subbed but carried on.

Too many clowns jumped on the 'Hutton is shit' bandwagon before, many of whom had probably never seen him play. He was barracked and abused and became a scapegoat. His attitude has been most professional and he is easily one of the best players this season for us.

N'Zogbia should be fined for walking so slowly off the pitch when substituted. We were up against it and didn't need a sulking player to waste time.

It is always the way. Injuries plague us every time. Never simple injuries but nagging ones that never clear up until the player is eventually sold.
