There's no jeopardy or ability to make tactical decisions anymore anymore. We all know from testing who's going to win the championship.

    - Allow 2 DRS "power play" windows of 10 laps each, no need to be within 1s of the car in front, just have 20 laps per race when you can use DRS on the straights. This will stop processions at the end of races as you'll have some cars with DRS quickly catching whoever is in front.

-Bring back in refueling with no min or max limits.

Would make a huge different to the races in my opinion.

    Don't mind either solution.

100% what they need is variables to mix up races, at the moment there just isn't enough and when you also have a dominant car at the front where is the entertainment coming from?

I don't think we need it. And if we do then it should only be on certain tracks where overtaking is a real problem

I'm not a massive fan of it but I remember the days before it was introduced and you would literally have 40 laps of a clearly faster car stuck behind someone and not being able to do anything about it. You could argue that if a driver can go 40 laps without making a mistake they deserve to keep the place but its not exactly a fun spectacle to watch but then again neither is watching someone push a go faster button and cruise past someone. DRS with caveats seems the only logical solution really.

Thing is DRS makes it so easy for faster cars to overtake that it would probably only be about lap 25 before we were back in a normal running order

Someone mentioned during the race that DRS should only be available for a limited amount of time, either that or a number of laps to use so there is still some tactics involved and its not just there all the time. I do agree with that.

Well you could argue that faster cars probably should and will find their natural positions eventually but at least there is some racing to get there. Anything more than that is artificially influencing races.

The cars seem to be ultra reliable now too which also takes away a facet of potential interest. Even punctures are rare these days.

F1 has never been the same since refuelling was banned. Regardless of everything else going on, that always ensured different strategies were always at play, sometimes not fully unfolding until the final laps.

Ultra reliable cars all on the same fuel load to the finish and pretty much all utilising the same number of stops doesn't play out to exciting races unfortunately.

Something definitely needs to be done, obviously without artificially influencing things too much... I think one lap Q3 qualifying runs would be a good start to least mix up the grids a bit more.

  6. To be honest its not the Red Bull dominance that bothers me, ironically its not the battle for the lead that necessarily determines how entertaining a season or race is.

I would say bigger factors are close racing, mixed up grids, changeable weather, pit lane drama, driver rivalry, exciting race tracks...

Unfortunately this season has almost had none of the above

  7. Needs a safety car desperately.

God help the casual f1 fans this season or people relatively new to the sport, you might be tuning out to find something more interesting.

All the work done last season to bring the cars closer together has just been erased and we’re back to normal but with a dominant Red Bull instead.

Nominated for Manager of the Season 👊🏻👏🏻💜💙

To be fair he’s barely put a foot wrong and I doubt even the likes of Klopp and Guardiola could have gotten much more out of this team during the time he’s been in charge. He won’t win it though but that’s fine.

It's like crack to people. Genuinely baffled how popular it is.

It used to be cheap and consistent, with all the recent price rises you could argue it’s neither these days.

It wasn’t that long ago you could get a Big Mac and fries for 1.99 or a full meal for 2.99. Can’t even get a triple cheese burger for less than 3 quid now.

We could use Barnes for sure, he's 25 and loads of PL experience. Can play up top of in LM

Barnes might not be the most exciting signing but he’s definitely an upgrade on some of our players on stats alone. Add another 2-3 players like that and we’re definitely better off next season.

Britain facing plague of 300 million super-rats who can chew through concrete

    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/britain-facing-plague-of-300-million-super-rats-who-can-chew-through-concrete/ar-AA1aAPQM?ocid=mailsignout&pc=U591&cvid=e0ead6e9c5424bf5b941a528c879624f&ei=11

The UK is facing a plague of 300 million monstrous super-rats capable of gnawing on steel and chewing through concrete. The fearsome army of rodents have been bolstering their ranks since lockdown, when they started invading homes, gardens and basements to find places to nest.

Pest controllers have recorded rats getting larger and members of the public have reported sightings of giant specimens up and down the UK. Fast-food waste and calorie-laden foods have been blamed for fuelling the rise in the rodent size and population.

During the early days of the coronavirus lockdown more than half of UK pest controllers reported an increase in rodent activity as the populations of rats moved from deserted city centres to people's homes and gardens in search of food.

This is definitely on the cards, I read a book about it some time ago by a fella called Herbert.

  12. Impressive from Perez, he needs to watch himself, Red Bull probably weren’t planning for him to actually start challenging Max.

Also that Alpine pit at the end was a farce, most dangerous incident I’ve seen in ages.

  13. Won’t make any decisions whether this is better or worse than current format until I’ve seen a weekend play out.

One thing I am certain of is the same issue as a 24 race calendar. You can have too much of a good thing!

Too many races starts to make the excitement of a race weekend seem mundane, especially if one team is dominating. This new sprint Saturday event just devalues Sundays race imo.
