Got a Wembley date in the FA Cup semi where I got destroyed 4-0 by Liverpool. Start of the Premiership I have sold off El-Hadji Diouf £1m, Boyce £1m, Kirkland £1m, Nicu £3.4m, Salatic £2.2m. Bought in Kieran Richardson Free, Cleverly Free, Gibson £3m, Onouha £2.1m, Steven Taylor £1.2m, Mignolet £800k and Macheda 900k loan. My squad, hoping to survive, if not I'll move on again if the chance comes up.

I hate this game sometimes. My tactic that almost got me champions league last season suddenly turned to crap second season. Was lying in 14th with Villa with half the season gone but after a 4-0 loss to Bolton, 3-0 loss to Wigan and finally a 9-1 loss to Spurs I think it is time for me to leave.

First season at Villa over and a repeat of last year. Lost the league cup final, knocked out of the semis of the fa cup, could have got champions league but hit bad form at the end of the season and finished 6th. Knocked out in the group stages in europe, played Guzan in the competition and he was useless. Lichaj is a short term loan which don't get included in the updates. For some reason I can't get a work permit for Bradley, can't see any reason why he shouldn't get one. Been one of my most consistent players so don't want to lose him

Cheers I'll get scouting soon, already got Bannan trained at AMC as back up for Young and he's playing well. Just need cover for Albrighton and Downing as Pires and Agbonlahor are my only cover at the minute and neither play that well on the wings

Loving the patch. Walker and Albrighton down the right are destroying teams. Been playing a 4231. Going to have to find a winger who can play on both the left and right in January or a AMC

Patch looks good so far, wingers and crossing have been massively improved. Albrighton is class, 4 assists and a goal in 2 games

Looks a good line up to me, Bent will do well with Marc, Young and Downing creating chances for him. Strong team from Man U though.

Interesting line up. Looks a bit lightweight, plenty of options on the bench though if we need it. 2-1 Heskey and Gabby

What rating has Clark got at LB? Don't expect much at all but has it been altered?

Almost crashed my car when I heard this on the radio. Just the kind of signing we need right now. The money may seem crazy but I honestly can't think of another player who would come to us that is proven in this league and puts up the numbers he does. Turning 27 next month, will still have some great years left in him. Properly excited about this one

You can say we were unlucky but at the end of the day we made chances and didn't take them. We can take a lot of positives away though. We created chances, defended very well and showed some real fight to get back into the game. Walker and Albrighton look very good down the right. Walker made some good overlapping runs today and they link up well. NRC looked good defensively in the first half and helped out Clark who got little to no support from Gabby today. Gabby just isn't a winger, should have played a 442. You had all the right players for it, I just couldn't understand why we didn't

We really should have scored early on. Had enough chances. Lucky we didn't concede a penalty, soft but could easily have been given. Clark is struggling with Bentley and only Nige is helping him out. Gabby and Downing to switch for the second half and I could see us getting 3 points

Gabby. If GH wants a SS why not put Gabby there rather than on the left where he cant do anything. I understand he wants us to know our formation and how we're going to be playing under him with his players etc. But Gabby is not a winger. It needs switching around. Keep seeing NRC having to cover. Going to leave us open in the middle
