Watched Emery’s post match interview this morning. To tell you the truth I was totally disgusted by it. No real hint of criticism and deflecting the result by saying that Villa are strong in the league.

Placement is strong however recent performances (with the exception of Sheffield) have been poor, really poor. I don’t know what he’s been saying to the players in the dressing room but performances aren’t improving. In fact no changes last night after a terrible first half is basically saying to the players carry on what you’re doing which they did.

Total apathy which is being repeated in recent performances on the pitch. I’ve also read one or two posts on here suggesting Villa threw the game? I can understand that as the players looked totally disinterested last night with few breaking sweat.

For me though Emery needs to start showing the same passion and disgust evident while watching the game last night and throwing several of his players under the media bus. He might then get a reaction.

Show the same apathetic nature and performance level against Man U on Sunday it just won’t cut it with me or many other Villa fans!

Stopping trolling us Troy “Striker” Deeney

His corner yesterday in the first half summed it up. Should have scored tbh. He puts that shot anywhere else it’s 2-1 at half time. Instead, he just tries to hit it as hard as he can.

Should have score in the early minutes to but decided to head it across goal . Had we’ve scored first we would have gone on to win it.

Yep. I just don’t think he’s got the footballing intelligence to play how Unai requires. He cannot adapt his natural inclination to drive forward and, as we can see, it leaves us exposed and out numbered. I can really see now why Foyth was such a good fit for an Emery team.

Konsa is the Foyth in this team. But the fact is Ashley Young got it when playing last year Cash simply doesn’t.

It’s a very fair point… maybe it’s his demeanour or a touch of arrogance that he exudes… but no one can deny the work he has done and what he has achieved…

Leon wouldn’t be here with us otherwise would he?

Maybe he’s just a good dad/coach/mentor that backs his clients not sure if that’s the right word to succeed and defends and sticks by them no matter what.

I remember people used to say he had a bad attitude or something (probably influenced by their feelings of his dad), and every indication couldn't be further from the truth. He seems to be one of the most humble footballers I've seen. Just took that substitution in his stride and went on to keep improving as a player. Never moans, always ready to come off the bench and make a telling impact.

But why do people hate Craig Butler so much? The man took a load of kids of the street taught them to read and write put a roof over their heads built a football academy and worked night shifts cleaning toilets to provide for them.

  6. Hopefully he can build his minutes up gradually as he builds in confidence and familiarity with his role I’m sure he’ll show for the ball more as he gains confidence , the central midfield role in an Emery team requires a massive amount of bravery and I imagine it can be daunting for a young player to drop between the central defenders receive the ball under pressure play a pass or play himself out of trouble so we have to be patient as long as he’s neat and tidy and keeping possession the rest will come he’s certainly proved himself at championship level a big step up now but let’s back him to do it.

Leon deserves a huge apology from many of us, myself very much included.

Sorry I doubted you Leon. You're not crap at all, you're bloody brilliant.

Thanks for working hard to prove us naysayers wrong.

Not to be smug or anything but I stuck up for him through it all , it was quite difficult for him I imagine at times people wanted to beat him with any stick they could find like the jetski incident , his attitude was never in question he had bad luck with injuries then a terrible manager in Steven Gerrard  and on top of that abuse from fans.

Utd are looking at building a new 90k stadium. 😐 With Everton moving too. Maybe we really need to consider a new stadium. We don't want to be left behind by the others.

Yup it’s time to accept that we need to move with the times  if we are to remain a competitive premier league side as hard as that may be to accept.

There was a time when I'd agree with this.

Now he just tweets any old bollocks.

He was even tweeting about Lewis Hamilton the other day, as if he'd have some sort of inside knowledge about that

He’s a tap in merchant when it’s happened he announces it. He’s no more Itk than any other Jounro but if you are looking for confirmation of a rumor then he is the one probably hard to take on VT as so many have a love affinity with Percy.

    "reach verbal agreement"

Was Fab in the room with Leon and Monchi when this happened?

No idea you just know it’s concrete when Fab tweets it.
