  1. Give Sidwell a yorkshire accent and die his hair brown- Job done! Die Milners hair ginger and give him a mockney accent, all of a sudden Sidwell may hit form next season!
  2. How is everyone watching the game? I have ESPN but they're never listed anymore and then I'll switch my tv on one night and I would have missed a game. Driving me mad.
  3. Briggamans post was spot on. Although I wouldn't hve been so diplomatic as to say terry was fortunate to stay on the pitch. More he's a **** disgraceful piece of scum who did milner and definately should have been sent off! It was a disgusting tackle that only a piece if shit like terry would do to another Englishman with the world cup coming up, cos he can't help it, like his drug dealing word removed of a father!!Imagine the uproar if he did that to one of wengers little boys? As it's milner and he gets on with it they don't say anything. For those 10 mins in the second half, it was amazing, we were so loud singing my old man it wasn't true, watched it back on the tele and it shows how good we were. Possibly the best I've ever witnessed us! Problem was we got carried away with it, they had a break and scored a flukey goal from the resulting corner. Knocked the stuffing out of us and as people have sad no real plan B comes out. Extremely proud to be a villa fan again. Let's just hope well win one next season!
  4. I've just rewatched the first 20 mins of the match this morning and then had to turn it off as it was physically impossible to watch it without getting angry. I don't know if Dowd just bottled it because of the occasion, bottled it because it was against Man United or something more sinister is going on. All I know is that it was an absolute disgrace and he literally is not fit to referee. As all pundits and neutral fans agree and as the law of the game states, Vidic should have been sent off. End of. Also the numerous other incidents, booking 2 Villa players for late challenges, correctly, and then not booking Carrick when he does exactly the same thing. For that Carrick challenge he actually called him over and reached to his pocket, but as a typical arrogant cheating United player, Carrick walks away, and the Dowd decides not to book him. Maybe the way not to get booked is to walk away or protest your innocence as it clearly does have an effect on referees. Another inident involving Carrick, when a Villa player slid in late but importantly did not catch Carrick and the ref waved play on for Villa. Carrick got up to berate Dowd and then Dowd decided to call the play back for a Man Utd free kick. How about Rafaels bodychecking or blatent smashing into Villa players repetitvely? No caution again. Yet when Heskey shoulder charges a United player fairly, it is a foul. When a player was down injured and the play continues he allows it to continue for United to have a break on when Rooney is looking Dangerous, yet when the ball is cleared to find Ashley Yound in their half in space, he decides to call the pay back? At the end of the day, United played better than us, and on that basis deserved to win. However that is not the point that frustrates me, the point is, United should have played the game with 10 men. That is not to say that playing aginst 10 men will guarantee victory. It is to say that 11 Villa players against 10 United players would have stood us in a much greater poistion for the rest of the game. Not only tactically, physically but also mentally. The fact that he wasn't sent off and all these decision kept going against us appeared to get into the players mindset I believe. Anyone who plays football willl understand, it would have frustrated the Villa players no end and would have made the United players feel even more untouchable, and as a result giving them a big edge. I'm not sure if I have expressed myself clearly here as I have a million feelings and thoughts all coming at once and I can't seem to make any coherent sense out of them. I don't want thsi to sound like sour grapes so at the end of the day I had a good day, Martin and the boys did us proud!
  5. I live just up the road from Watford, there are plenty of places to go out in Watford on the sat night, loads of bars and clubs including an oceana! Not sure around in wembley, there will be villa everywhere so you can't really go wrong!
  6. Nigel Spink, rolls the ball top platty, platty on to paul mcgrath and out to tony daley, Tony Daley down the wing like a torpeedo puts the ball in the AIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR to Tony Cascarino
  7. Totally agree that at the end of the day, its whatever catches on. IMO, a lot of these 'wordy' chants seem great but when everyone trys to chant it, it just comes out garbled. How does the 'Viva' song go-I guess it's based on Viva Espana and will end something like 'Viva its Cuellar'? Agreed it will be just be whoever starts it off at the back of the holte but the "torres" one would be so much better than the "ronaldo" one, no1 else sings the ronaldo one so let them have it where as the torres one i know at least united and liverplop use it so it wont look as bad on us for copying or even adopting from rangers. Where as viv cuellarrrrrrr would just be and outright copy off united and would just make us look like tits!!
  8. haha, i may just get bottled for looking like the biggest tit ever!!
  9. Ill bring mine so long as you provide the amplication for 40,000 people?
  10. same thought process as myself mate, can't wait to jump around to it at away matches!!
  11. I think we should sing it in the way liverplop sing the torres one in the sing it with the lyrics once then just sing the na na na na bit ending with carlos cuellar villas centre half.
  12. haroldo86 anyone up for some fifa or cod4?
  13. Does anyone know the alternate words to my old man? I don't know if it's just a cockney version for united fans to sing or what think its goes like.... ....i said bollocks ur a word removed with hatchets and hammers, stanley knives and spanners... Then I dunno what comes next
  14. Watched this at work the other day and was in stiches and looked a right state desperately trying to stop myself laughing out loud!!
  15. Americans havn't got the hand of the singing yet or how to wind opposing fans up, the best thing to sing to the ICF in the situation is " re-le-gation"
  16. Sorry if this has been on this thread before, but what are the lyricss to our version of Keep Right on I know "we're off to pakistan, la la la in a caravan la la la wipe that snot off the end of your nose wipe that snot off the end" What comes next or before?
  17. Nice sentiment mate but I can't see that happening, there's too much hate for him, and if anything it'll be "rocket polisher"
  18. General on behalf of the intelligent villa fans out there, Please ignore the quoted comments! We have 110% faith in everything that is going on at the club! look, the poster can ask stuff as long as it's within the rules. It may be based on a false premise, you may consider it a question not worth answering, but please rather than comment on the questions of others, allow the General to deal with the question(s) as he sees fit. Thanks. Blandy
  19. I'm only 21 so I missed them when Kurt was alive, but that's bang on mate, Unplugged is a special album I only listen to it rarely so I really enjoy it. His Heavier then Heaven is a goodn I hated reading it when they were talking about the investigation. You should read " who killed Kurt Cobain" - Im not a conspiracy theorist in the slightest, but that does have a LOT of points that are very open for negotiation Nevermind it a 10/10 job In Utero - 9/10 Bleach - 8/10 I can't get into the really heavy grungey stuff these days
  20. to the bloke who voted for nirvana- Even if you donDo you not like Rock music, I can understand not thinking that they're amazing but Nevermind was pure genious!!
